In Thailand you can travel anywhere there are roads. Traveling in Thailand by motorcycle was something that Americans liked to do 20-30 years ago. Back then, I often saw expats from America riding bikes in groups of 2-5 You will have many amazing experiences on this trip. ❤🙏

The skywalk is in วัดพระธาตุดอยเวา ( Wat-Pra-Tart-Doi-Wao) in case you can ask people around there if you could not find it. You will see Myanmar from the other side.😊

just south of the highest peak where you stopped at on the same road about 5km is a one of the most epic view points . It has the king and queen pagodas. Its one of the coolest shots you can get with the pagodas in the back ground and the little bridge with a stream and the mountains and clouds in the back drop....name of the pagodas (Pra Mahatat Noppamethanedon and Pra Mahatat Nopphonphusiri)

I went to Doi Intanon in 2018. It was raining that day we had to use a raincoat. You finally found a nice and quiet place where you are the only tourist in Chiang Mai 😂. If you go to Chiang Rai, stop by Pu Chee Fa, sunrise is breathtaking there. It is one of the best sunrise spots in Thailand. I recommend spending a night there, and get up early to see sunrise. I have a friend who owns a resort, Pu Chee Fah Twin View resort.

Doi Inthanon is one of the most popular National Park in Thailand. It's famous for the viewpoint, nature trail, waterfalls, sunrise-sunset watching, birdwatching, etc. Too bad that you missed many beautiful places up there such as the twin royal pagodas of the King Rama 9 and the Queen, the short nature trail called Giw Mae Pan, Vachiratan Waterfall, etc. Hope you can visit all these places next time. Have a safe journey through out the country ! 😊

We road the loop in 2020 on honda 650 cb's. I got the loop tattooed on my leg with the notable stops included. We had multiple near deaths riding much harder than we should have but the switchbacks MAKE you wanna go ! Man i miss thailand 🇹🇭

Certainly. The iPhone is mounted to a Manfrotto mini tripod with a Manfrotto clamp. I have an Osprey backpack that has a chest strap. I took the whole thing in and tighten the chest strap down. It is not the most stable mount, but it works. Can’t say I recommend this set up because it does move around a bit. But I like the solution because I can easily pull it back out with my hand and start recording.

At Doi Inthanon mountain, there are 3 species of truffle mushrooms, both native and those found in Italy. And there are Himalayan and native bird species that have no problem anywhere else, including native orchids that can be found here. and the only azalea tree in the world and many waterfalls

I would not recommend learning how to ride a motorbike in Bangkok. Even with 30 years of experience, I still find it pretty crazy to ride in that city. HOWEVER… obviously many people learn how to write a Bangkok, so it just depends how your hand eye coordination is, and how well you can deal with multitasking.

Did the loop with a friend in August from Chiang Mai ante clockwise over 5 days. Great road surface, not much traffic, wonderful scenery. Don’t know how old mate here keeps getting lost? 😂 We didn’t ride any dirt tracks. You definitely need a bigger bike. I rented a 500, but ride a Z900 at home , so can ride well. Inexperienced riders shouldn’t really tackle this ride on a motorbike …

Everything is filmed with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The 360° shots are recorded on an Insta 360 RS One 1 Inch camera. However, I rarely use the camera.

You lucked out getting lost today Serg, those rice fields I know look nothing like they do on video, it's almost when you're there someone has been in an manipulated the scene on photoshop before you arrive as the colours are so saturated. You looked slightly overwhelmed by the view. Looks like the bike is holding up well as you do too. Safe travels matey 🏴🇹🇭🇺🇲🏍️
