I remember seeing a post on MyAnimeList asking why most people’s favorite anime characters are females and one user said it’s because most anime male characters are just shallow and self inserts and I agree with that. And romance anime always has this weak, nerdy and beta Mc. Honestly I don’t how this characters are appealing. This is a problem Hayao Miyazaki talked about that anime is targeted at otakus which is we always get these generic adaptations with shallow MC’s.

over many Gyaru's manga, I think this one take the second place in my book (after My Dress Up Darling) as best gyaru's story out there. The MC is what any romance MC should have been, he has integrity and moral code to make his girlfriend happy. Even though the girl was broken at first and too naive for her own good, but he never took advantage of it and gradually "fix the girl". Honestly, the world would be better place, if more human have moral code and integrity like the MC.

The problem is in real life, people don't change like that. And a person like her would probably just use him as a pillow to cry on and then go for better people than mc. People who have had many partners lose the ability to actually bond with a single person. Why invest time and effort and try to solve the inevitable fights and disagreements when you can easily get a new person? Edit: Just to be clear, this goes both ways. Same for the "chads".

The premise makes the female lead seem incredibly stupid. It doent help, hat the rest of the manga is filled with misunderstandings, where the female lead repeatedly believes someone else, she has a bad relationship with, over her boyfriend of quite some time, who actually helped her. The FMC is way too unrealistic.

The Mc is too genric and shallow. I’m reading the manga and dude blushes like every second . I really don’t see anything unique about it. It’s the typical generic rom com you see all the time. The only unique that I would say is the the FMC is not teasing and playful but she probably might be later in the future and she’s more assertive and taking the lead while the Mc is the non assertive one

So in the past the girl once had a boyfriend but her boyfriend seemed like he wanted to leave her, because he didn't want to stay, in the end the girl gave him her body but her boyfriend still left the girl (it's a shame, this guy). stay... in the end the girl thinks that dating is just for Segs... finally she meets the MC... And goes out with the MC... the MC teaches the girl the real meaning of dating (watching movies, traveling, watching fireworks together) and the girl felt happy because it was her first time experiencing the joy of dating, because her previous boyfriends had never done all that... then the girl cried while saying "You gave me all your first experiences (dating) but I can't give you my first (her virginity) .
