Hey! I am finally back to making videos after moving across the country! I filmed this in-between temporary housing situations as a dumb little project, but as you can see based off of the runtime, the "little video idea" ended up becoming giant lmao But anyways, I'm done moving and I'm back to making videos full-time again! Something I really love about the 'reveal' of it being acting on Barbie's part is that it's been hinted to in titles. Barbie "as" The Princess and the Pauper. Barbie is acting as both. If I remember correctly, there are bloopers where Barbie 'Actors' flub lines or act silly. It's always been plays ! I haven't seen all the films, but I was obsessed with PatP & remember Julian(sp?) breaking into a dance for a blooper. :)

I wasn't really a huge Barbie 'fan' when I was a kid (I maybe had like 2 or 3 dolls because I was mainly into Carebears and 2nd gen MLP), but I used to think that the early 2000's movies were pretty cool. I have so much nostalgia for Barbie princess charm school. It was the only Barbie movie my sisters and I watched as a child and we watched it almost every day I swear. I was so disappointed when I realized you skipped over the rest of the fairytopia series 😢 if you ever feel up to it, you should at least watch Barbie Mariposa. It's one of my favorites; the plot is interesting and they gave the characters silly accents. It's up there with Island Princess in my books.

I feel like what I really loved about the original barbie movies as a kid was that they were timeless and centered fantasy. But these new ones seem like long form KZbin kids content. A lot of the jokes will age out in a couple years and don't have the fun of taking you out of reality/current times.

Wasn't expecting this video but I'm all for it. I grew up with a handful of these movies and basically shaped me into the person I am today. Overall I like how Barbie is now seen as a cool thing now because of the recent movie, which heals my inner child. Also love the idea threwout the video you put more makeup on, or Barbiosis as its called. But yeah big respect for you to do this.
