I think that Nighteye’s problem with his Foresight is that he doesn’t think anything is actually unavoidable until he sees it. Similar to how in Norse Mythology, the gods are reluctant to prophesize about Ragnarok because any more knowledge of it could lock them into even more terrible futures.

Huh. Somehow they managed to make Centipeder’s voice sound less ridiculous in the dub despite staying quite high pitched. But honestly, I wish it stayed ridiculous because the contrast between his voice and his appearance definitely would have tickled Nighteye’s fancy during the job application.
