Had the same issue even when I remove the SIM card it still say “No service”instead of No Sim. Didn’t know how to force restart until I watched this. Force restarting fixed it for me. Thank you!!

For anyone who is interested. I had this exact issue on an iPhone 13 Pro. (New refurbished model, 9mths use) The volume up/down forced restart worked. Will post back if it breaks again but so far OK. 👍

@@Technomentary Sadly it only works for a few hours before it cuts the network out again. Will have to try the other options before I call Apple. Such an annoying bug. It must be a software issue as it works for a limited time rather than permanently broken. Will post back with further updates in case this is helpful for anyone else with the same issue.

One last update. I did the hard reset a few times and it finally came up with an iOS update (iOS 17.6). Got it installed on WiFi and reset the network settings as well. Phone struggled with holding signal the following day but 5 days on, it seems to be okay now. Persistence with several hard resets (vol up, down, hold power) and trying to update the OS helps. Definitely an iOS bug! 👍

Another update (last one promise!) I got my iPhone working with these fixes but it completely died (on holiday!) so I had no working phone for a week. No previous fix worked so called Apple. Did a diagnostic check online with an advisor who said there was an issue with the RF cellular unit. Took it into a shop and did a more thorough test with the same verdict. HARDWARE issue with RF cellular unit. Required a new back unit (basically a new phone except for screen and front camera!) Took a couple of days for part to arrive and be fitted but I’m now messaging on technically a new iPhone. Chances are, if these video fixes don’t work or only work for a short time, your RF cellular modem is probably knackered. Get it fixed if under warranty or get a new phone. 👍

Iphone 12Pro max updated to 16.3 completely made my cellular service inoperable. The phone pulls an enormous amount of data now as it is constantly trying to connect to the towers without success. 16.1 and 16.2 both worked fine. It was the upgrade to 16.3 three weeks ago that damaged the cellular capabilities of my iPhone. Note: I bought a 13 Mini to test. During set up of the 13Mini the iPhone OS updated itself to 16.2. I put my physical SIM card into the 13 Mini and Cellular works fine again. Apple you need to fix this, why should I have to buy another phone for $800 due to your shoddy IOS 16.3 update?

True fix. Back up your phone then go to settings then back up settings. Then restore to factory settings. Once it boots back up log into Wi-Fi. You made need to restart it again. Then sign into iCloud and restore your back up

@@mo3815 I went to AT&T they told me updates is the reason why my phone missed up. Am thinking down the road class action lawsuits this is right.. My son lives out of town waiting on him . Basically what will have to happen he said . He will have to back up all of my information to my computer. Reset the phone to factory. If that doesn’t work install a different update previously that AT&T offered before to get it working… As soon as I have more updates for you I will posted it. I have a 8 plus I have been using until he fix my 12

I've done everything on this video with my iphone 7plus, nothing works. Sth funny is that my phone doesn't even reset network settings. :))) i keep typing in the password but it just gets stuck on that page and gets back to home. :)) I'm guessing it must be the simcard that's broken or not fully adjusted, though i cannot think of any time when I took the Simcard out for it to get misplaced!! I'm having my simcard changed tomorrow as the last resort.

@@nv2940 after getting a diagnosis at an apple store, turns out my device suffered internal hardware damage which led to the sim card reader getting broken along with magsafe magnets and such (somehow it had 0 external damage it still looks brand new from outside) I wrote the comment before giving up and going to apple
