Thanks this is great! I like the idea of a flat version for sanding resin objects.

Thanks for the inspiration Mark. Going to CAD Up a 20x 24 Airbrush booth today to work with an old squirrel cage fan. Going to basically be a box with a slot for a 16x20 inch filter to slide in. and a similar canopy design to yours that uses old carbord. That can be discarded after use, or packed flat with the vent box. Going to split it into 4 parts and slot them together. Hopefully no warping :)

This is a very interesting project. One suggestion I have is more an optional extra. Getting these filters isn’t that easy or cost-effective in some parts of the world. How about a frame that is the same size as the cardboard filters so that spray booth filter material you can get in sheets or rolls could be used?

Good suggestion! Do you have a link to an example of the type of filter material you'd want to use?

@@gunplamark i can’t copy a link into YT comments but if you search for ‘spray booth air filter material” you get a lot of results. The ones with blue and white filter colour are the one. They are typically about 22mm thick and come in sheets that can be cut to size.

Cool project! What did you print them on? If the filters are 12", that's larger than a standard 256mm/sq bed.. was it an XL machine?

I built a Voron 2.4 that has a 350mm square build plate. The air chamber pieces are sized to fit perfectly within that area, with just a bit of space all around.
