Just on a Kaitlin video binge, as you do. These are so lovely, I have a personal ringbinder n I keep a traveller notebook or two in that, for specific info. But i just use them more for reference of important diet info & I never bothered to make them pretty. But seeing your pretty ones is so inspiring. Makes me want to buy a cover & inserts with nicer paper, even though I already have lots of books now n I am actually quite liking a larger size page atm lol. Stationery obsessed for sure 😂 I guess I just love to experiment too ! It’s all so fun ! 😍

Your TN is so beautiful. I love the combination of colors with the camel. I have the Ace Hotel cover so your mix of soft greys into your inserts is very inspiring for me, thank you.

Oh wow, the Ace covers are so gorgeous from the photos I've seen, what colour do you have?! And thank you, I love sharing my journals!

I’m catching up on videos I haven’t watched yet. I love the stamps you have on the left the florals with the two little vases. I have those too. Love them. I also have a Pentel energel like your gold one, except mines the pearl white one. I’ve been using mine for years. Lovely esthetic!
@KaitlinGrey3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I fully thought those were to go coffee cups or something but hahaha yes, vases, of course that's what they are! I didn't know they made a white energel, that sounds really lovely 😍 And thanks for the love John, I really appreciate it!

I set up a new notebook (insert-style like traveler's notebook, but A5 size) every 6 months. I generally do over the course of about a week, just because I usually don't have a lot of time all at once to plan. But I know what I like at this point, so it's a lot of the same things, with just a few changes here & there. The "shininess" that leather gets with age is called the "patina". And you're right! Suede doesn't develop as much of a patina. Just be aware, if you've got super dry hand (like me) you may need to actually condition your cover after a while. Leather is skin. So the oils from your hands are usually enough to keep leather supple, but if you've got super dry skin you just don't get that perk. So the leather WILL dry out and start to crack if you don't maintain it.

Hey Fluffy Mao, thank you so much for sharing this information! From one dry handed person to another I appreciate your wisdom haha! Is there a balm or leather conditioner that your would recommend/use?

You’ve got a lovely setup. Thanks for all sharing it with us. Can you please let me know where did you get the tabs for your journal? They’re minimal. I have some from the travellers notebook factory . They’re brass and very bulky.
@KaitlinGrey3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Ruchika! The tabs are by Midori and they’re called the Chiratto tabs, you can find them on jet pens (you can find that link in the description box).

okay i stumbled onto this video while going down a tn rabbit hole cause i was debating a tn for my second notebook. can you humor me and tell me if you enjoyed using a tn as a bullet journal?
@KaitlinGrey2 жыл бұрын
Aaaaah wow, thank you Sahib! So for me I stopped using my tn ad a bullet journal bc I found I had to use a new insert every month since my daily logs were so long! If you have shorter daily logs or use a weekly log, I think it would definitely work well tho!

I love your minimalist style! Where do I find those metallic book marks? 😍
@KaitlinGrey3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sofia, thank you! I got them from a local stationery store in Toronto (Paper Plus Cloth) but you can also find them on Jet Pens. If it helps at all, the product name is: Midori Chiratto Index Clips.

love your videos. I love your instax photos, how are you travelling and taking these photos.
@KaitlinGrey3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Rachel! and omg, right now I'm not traveling (rip) but when I did, I would just bring my instax camera with me and hope for the best! Although now that the instax printer exists, that would probably be a lot easier compared to a camera that you have to bring everywhere 😅
