The devs have been doing Q&A on the discord and have been repeatedly addressing role lock or role queue. They said that they want people to be free in who they play so they are not implementing role lock, but they will be encouraging more viable team options through the team up concept. For example, pushing people to want to play support or tank because their team up is fun and helps the team.

If I remember right the Season Bonus is just a weirdly chosen name for a little buff you get while you have an active team up. So for example you get the extra team up ability and a stat bonus on your character when a team up is active

Spider-Man is my favorite character in anything (basic I know) but since he’s already in there is one character I’ve been dying for but fear that he won’t get in. That character is Ant-Man (Hank Pym specifically) programming the shrinking and balancing it would most likely be horrendous but that’s still the character I want. Im waiting for Daredevil, i even have how he'd work in my head, billy club related abilities (Staff, dual, and num-chuk), "see" enemies through walls passive, bo staff would be longer range higher damage but slower, dual wield would be fast short range and lower damage, num-chuk would be in-between, maybe a grab enemy mechanic with it or a rappel to ledge instead. and maybe wallclimb for him or something? idk how to show his parkour and agility within the game. Also maybe a teamup thing with frank where frank gets enemy outline callouts from matt and matt gets higher damage from frank?

i also think the game plays phenomenally from a casual stand point, i hope they try to kind of maintain that sort of feel because i didnt like how overly competitive overwatch was, i think striking a balance would be great for the game's future. on another note, this game has WAYYYY too many stuff going on that i feel may be tanking performance, like stacks of baskets having individual collision is absurd. hopefully they come with better optimization alongside a lower graphic setting than the current lowest.

I really don't care about this stuff that much, but in a crazy fast paced game like this one, 60fps is the bare minimum. And the Dr Strange portal tanks the performance for everyone, I've seen gameplay footage of RTX 4090 at low settings, the game running at almost 180fps, here it comes the portal and the frame rate dropped to 80fps lol search for gameplay footage of "necros" if you are curious, that portal is like a nuke

The more I play the more I can see through the chaos. I’ve also been using the destructible environment vision which I’ve used to burst through walls behind enemies as venom, which is not only hilarious but rewarding too. My main complaint is Hulk, BP and Spidey all need a damage buff, and Luna Snow is blatantly the best support in the game and it feels like throwing if you don’t have her imo

As a RX 7600 owner (paired with a old ryzen 2600), the frustration with the performance is very real. And to help things out, I was forced to play in another country's server, so the stuttering and lag was crazy. But I still had a lot of fun in this second beta. I do think this game has a golden opportunity to take over and snatch away half of the Overwatch player base in a matter of weeks and NetEase seems to agree with me, because they are rushing the release of this game. Honestly, considering the state of it (balancing, chaotic visual and sound cues, lack of impact, Hulk needs to be reworked, etc.. These are valid criticisms as well), Rivals is at least one year away, like mid 2025, but they are going to release the game in December already, that can backfire... Let's wait and see, hope this game succeeds because Overwatch became a abomination, time to move on to something better

Please no. Overwatch it seemed nice at first when they did that, but ended up not being a fan. If your tank or support are trash you can’t do anything to fix it with role lock. If my tank or support are complete ass and horrible heals or tanking is the clear issue I can just role a 3rd tank or support and win the game that would possibly be unwinnable with role lock

Optimisation is definitely not where it should be but I play with a 3070 and a 5600x and I just let it auto detect settings then I knocked lumen off. By default vsync is on, turn that shit off. After all that my game runs 90+fps on average, unless you use an ultimate then it will tank briefly. I’m not having your issue of sub 60 constantly you’ve probably cranked the game or you’re running at 4k.

One thing that I found would help and increase performance would be to shut off lumen. It's basically just the real time lighting effects ue5 has, and is very well known to make your game have a seizure performance wise if not finetuned. Other than that, also removing everything except for steam, your browser and the game from running increased my performance a lot.

i betting that seasonal bonus is their way to gauge at balancing issue, since not equal amount of players gives feedback for each character, let's say 90% of players playing a VENOM and his statistic wide and accurate with different teamups and enemies, but what to do with Namor... that has ugly model and octopuses.. for god know what a reason.... if only 10% of people that play a Venom are playing a Namor, then in no way his statistic gonna be even near to be accurate, but with seasonal bonus even with small amount of data they gonna see if winrate moved at all - and if NOT if even with boosted stats character still sucks - then it requires changes.

I don’t think hulk is weak he has a shield,thunder clap does a good amount of damage to combo with, he can make air characters go to the ground, the stun is good for targeting supports for a little bit to stop enemy healing. I think the problem is since he’s a close range most supports help out the people that are closer to them instead of hulk since they mostly stay in the back line.

Game is great so far but I have a few things I hate 1. Too many insta kill ults. Iron man and scarlet witch specifically. These two have ults that just insta kill anyone in sight with little ability to escape them in time. I hope they at least make these ults take longer to perform. Other characters like punisher and storm also have some pretty busted ults that should probably get nerfed too. 2. DOCTOR STRANGE PORTAL CD. WHY IS HIS CD 140 SECONDS???? Dude it needs to be reduced to like 60-80 3. The announcer is so annoying, I wish you could just turn them off Anyway I mostly love the game so far it’s just these 3 specific things I’m not a big fan of Also your right people gotta pick healers and defensive tanks more

I think Scarlet Witch ult is fine Its very slow and telegraphed and can be blocked by Strange and Magneto and she can be killed out of it. Iron man ult is a bit weirder because on one hand its basically free if you don't have a shield hero but if you do its easily blocked or absorbed by magneto ult or intercepted by Penni's right click unless the iron man is playing smart.

@@actualpie6521 You could also just dodge the Iron Man ult with a movement skill. Both insta kill ults can be countered fairly easily, Iron Man a little less so, but his requires aim

I think scarlet and iron's ults are fine, the ONLY character i have a major problem with is punisher. He's an absolute douche.

This game is not as polished as it should be. The red enemies auras are confusing. You have a really bad time in this game seeing what is going on

The matter of the fact is, that this is going to be another cash grab profiting on the downfall of overwatch and not much will change for release. Seen this a hundred times. @@negentropyagent7337 I see what you’re saying and I have to party agree due to netease working on the game since they don’t have the best reputation. I think the only way to see the direction of the game is when it fully releases and what they add/ do not add to the game. I hope they add effective ways to receive free in game currency for the free to play player as that will be very beneficial to the success of the game. One thing though that I personally don’t agree with you is that I don’t have any issues with the actual gameplay in matches. The only graphics/quality issues is fps drops when lots of clutter happens in massive team fights, which is probably due to it being beta but also could be because I’m playing on console.

@@negentropyagent7337 The "shop" and "battle pass" don't have any microtransactions yet though? I don't think anybody can spend on the game yet, y'know, because it's a beta. And just because they have ranked and several other features to make it near feature-complete doesn't mean the game *is* complete. It is still a beta and as such things are subject to change. It could have more features than Overwatch and still be a beta, having a ranked mode doesn't change that.

the only way to add more support player is, red blue green coin balance, they need to put a token thing green for support blue for tank red for damage thos token are for buying skin but a skin is depend is not just one color coin prize but like 3 : 2: 1 like maybe a support skin meaning the expense is 30 green coin 20 blue coin 10 red coin by meaning you need to grind all hero to get the skin but you need to play more support to get support skin, vise versa , it dont really help , but very lease, for f2p player they like to grind no matter what the cost. so at any point those guy does really fill the blank role net ease was gacha company mobile game company they know how to give reward more to player

you got like 20 hero, 20 hero free skin, for maybe 4 season, 5 free skin each season, you might spend more time in game, example 20 minute each rank for 1 skin you need 60 match, 60x20 ,1200 minute, 20 hour of grinding, 5 skin is like 100 hour for just one season grind, its a good thing i guess to add more engagement time
