Enjoyed your video!, Thanks for the updated maps. It was quite clear where you was working on the track, and changes could be deduced by watching all the videos but now everything is evident. Cris

Thanks for the update! Always enjoy the updates! Now that we have a route update...how about we do roster update? :) I know that would be a lot of work, but wouldn't have to be done at one setting. Hopefully no major damage when you visit the railroad. Look forward to the next update.

I have been thinking about putting all of the equipment in one place so it can be seen in 1 video, just a matter of switching everything out and getting it done, so stay tuned!

I TOTALLY LOVE the layout. Is this your private road or is it a club? I would LOVE to have a layout. I also enjoyed the bridge building video. I am always attracted to traction railroads, especially trolley cars. Best of luck !!!!!!
@CNW41459 ай бұрын
It is my private road, due to liability concerns I have to limit visitors but it sure is fun to work on. Glad you enjoyed it as I do :)

@@CNW4145 That is AMAZING, All the way down to the sub-stations. The current collection all home made. You are BRILLIANT. I wish I had some copper trolley wire I could give you. Do you have much voltage loss without the use of span insulators? Are you running 240 VDC? You have a lifetime fan here !! Best of Luck :-)

It very cool to see the changes over the years and I can’t wait to see the updates/improvements of it in the future. Just curious, where did the two old rail lines go after it reached the end of the paper? Keep up the good work.

This is awesome you made this as I was just wondering what the entire layout was like, especially after the bridge videos. May I make 1 suggestion though, to increase video views and to make it easier on viewers, consider linking any old videos you reference or ones directly related to the current video. Such as the steps of a project, and/or consider making playlists. I understand the filming and editing is a lot of additional work, but hopefully it wan pan out in your favor!

Snowplow in the future? First rotary was done for a small traction company. I have a picture of it in one of my transit books.

I thorougly enjoy your videos and your method of homebrew engineering and construction. Just one question. How do you insulate the catenary from the catenary supports? I recognize you are using relatively low voltage, but I can't quite make out the unsulation system. Please keep enhancing your system and supplying the associated videos. Very interesting!
@CNW41459 ай бұрын
The insulation is simply the wooden cross arms that support the wire, nothing more is needed due to the low voltage used here.

Are you going to use that piece of X track in the central loop project?

So do you own anything on the other side of the creek? Like could you do a bridge over the creek and build further that direction? Awesome videos btw. Just had one in my feed and i definitely subscribed
@CNW41458 ай бұрын
I wish I did, bridging that creek has long been a dream of mine but the land is not for sale. I'm sure the permits to do such a thing would make it nearly impossible on a hobby scale too- but one can dream!
@bradpersons19729 ай бұрын
Thanks for the update, and clarifying the layout. I'm just curious, when you have found rail available in the past (brickyard, old mine, etc) do you have to physically remove it yourself? Or is the rail stacked up for you to get? How do you transport it to your site? Keep up the good work!
@CNW41459 ай бұрын
Most of the time the rail must be removed but in some cases I do find it already removed. Obviously if you remove it yourself the price is lower, but it is more work. Fine by me! I then use a truck and trailer to haul the rail to the site.
