I would wager UGA will have what 99% of programs would consider "success" the next five years.. however I see ZERO National Championships in that period.. you're calling them a dynasty but dynasties need 1 of if not both of 2 things and i don't see either for them currently.. 1) you need to be on an elite tier while also having a very visible margin of difference between them and the field..do they?? No..even if they are the best team - which i don't believe at all - but even if they were - is the margin between them and #2/the field a runaway?? No.. 2) you MUST be able to win close games and probably MORE importantly must win games that they should not/while playing a bad(for them in context)game?? Do you feel confident in that with them?? Maybe you do..maybe you don't.. I don't but even if YOU do - that is still only one of the two things i mentioned and #2 is a lot more of a crapshoot than the first route as it puts more onus in the hands of people outside their own program.. #1 think Alabama when they first hit their stride 15+/- years ago..look when it was #1 Alabama vs. #2 Notre Dame and how good the top 10 was through their ACTUAL dynasty and yet they were leaps and bounds above the field.. The transfer portal is going to slam shut the already steadily closing gaps due to parody..just my 2 cents
