There was this pro game where Miracle was playing TB and his team was just getting picked off and dying all game. He was massive but he couldn't 1v5 the enemy team, so he got radiance on TB and delayed the game forever lol eventually his team caught up and they won. Idk if that was on OG or with Kuro, but I remember watching and thinking this game is hopeless cuz the enemy team will eventually catch him and throw everything to kill him and game would be over. But they never caught him. He wasn't the top in mechanical stuff but he is probably the best player at deciding how to use his farm to win the game. It isn't as simple as getting all damage and being unkillable, some games he takes his farm and creates space for his team to catch up. Another game where he was playing carry tiny and got a late blink + shadow blade and kept picking off the enemy team while split pushing. Wish he comes back in some team

I would absolutely say JeraX is mechanically strong, what? That's how you get away with razor edge plays and dives and near-perfect positioning like he did consistently, because you know how the mechanics interact, and execute them well. Don't have to knock his mechanics to praise his game sense, he was just insanely good. We're talking about the guy with a legendary EARTH SPIRIT. That doesn't happen without strong mechanical knowledge and execution.

It's weird how it's almost impossible to be the "wiz kid" for more than like 3-4 years, seems like it's a revolving door of talent. Can't pinpoint why exactly. Maybe it has to do partly with meta changes, like your playstyle fits perfectly for certain patches, then when the meta changes, it suits someone else better. Or maybe you can only grind so hard at that 16/hrs a day rate, and stay ultra focused for only a handful of years. Maybe they get success and then take their foot off the gas. Maybe it's an age thing, the wiz kids are almost always at their peak at like 19-23 years old.

Puppey explained it in an interview a while back. He said it's not that you become worse with age, but your focus diminishes and you start being interested in other things in life. At 18 all you know is dota, but when you're 25 you start to realize life is bigger than a stupid game. Now I'm not a scientist, but the best learning years are in your childhood/teens because your brain is still forming. Once you reach 25 your brain is fully developed and you're kinda set in your ways as to how you interact with the world and it's harder to adapt or pick up new information the more you age. I believe these two aspects are the main reason players start to fall off after a certain age. They are less focused on the game AND biology plays a role too. We do know for a fact that IQ decreases with age, so I wouldn't be surprised if you lose brain power in other aspects as well, not just intelligence.

Topson is a mechanical wonder, and ana is an oddity himself, but miracle also shines in understanding the game and leading the team. In the true sights, most of OG's calls are made by notail, ceb and jerax, but miracle was the leader behind kuroky.

He was average player in alot of terms maybe even bellow them, but i rewatched some replays in his peak and style how he fights, how he choose targets and how he press spells + items was probably the best of all carry players at the time. Over all he was really mechanicly gifted and pure talent to the game, and he himself said that he never followed rules of how to play game by others or somethin like that but he played based on feeling and u could see it during his times. I think he was special player.

Miracle in his prime was like idk, messerschmitt 262 in WW2. He was like 1st ever Jet fighter, the way he played the game … he was the best of the best, there was no scale for that guy, noone even came close to miracle ever in dota history, he was the pianist and he was the great strategist at the same time… For me personally, he wrote another page of dota history.
