It's funny because in the novelization, Anakin actually ended up making peace with not being a master a few days later anyway since he initially wanted the rank mostly (if not only) to access some high security information he thought would help him protect Padme, and he had started to believe he didn't need them anymore. Instead, he was more flustered about having Obi-wan stay on Coruscant (he could feel he'd be needed soon), but the Jedi Council sent him away to deal with Grievous, sealing Palpatine's win since he wasn't there to prevent Anakin's fall at a crucial moment.

Having Obi-wan and Yoda leave was a high risk gambit made by the order. By killing Greivous they knew that Palpatine needs to end the war and reveal his hand. However they failed to see that Anakin needed Obi-wan to give him counsel and wisdom at such a crucial moment. They also betted that the chosen one would "bring balance to the force" in their favor too. Which is arrogance.

An oppositional force, the dark side, was manipulating the Order and the Republic to destroy each other (Republic destroys the Jedi Order, becomes the Empire, thereby destroying the Republic). Kreia wanted the eradication of the Force, which could only be done by destroying all life in the universe since life creates the Force (ie, the midichlorians give organic matter life and awareness of the Force. Take one away and the other dies too). She’s not that deep: people just like her because she’s a Sith who confirms their self-centered anti-Jedi biases (just like Dave Filoni)

He had a vision of Padme dying = A senator leader of the only faction that supports the Jedi. @@calvinripley9093 as i said gaslighting, Anakin dont recall ever telling him about the visions or the fact he had a wife, just tell Anakin that he did tell about his visions when he was starting to get troubled, Anakin even a patient and good one would not exactly think too much about a few bad dreams when talking to the one that essentially supported him the whole time, and that as the Chancellor Palpatine has eyes on every corner of the important places of Corruscant and saw Anakin go to Padme way to often for him not to make the obvious link, like sure it would rise suspicions on why would Palpatine keep an eye on everyone, but like since theres a precedant in assassination attempts or kidnapping attempts on Senator and even Palpatine himself (hehe) its not like itll raise to much suspicion

Instead of serving as Master, Anakin decided to pay the younglings a visit. He taught them how to defend themselves against a single overpowered opponent should the need ever arise. He soon let go of his desire to become Master and took a liking to his new purpose and grew prouder of his students every day. He felt confident that if some dude suddenly showed up to kill them all, they'd be just fine.

Technically, Order 66 still would have happened and Anakin instead of being a Sith Lord, he will either being betrayed and killed, or he went into hiding like Obiwan and few other survivors. Stuff won't change much, except Luke and Leia will probably have Anakin along their side as a Jedi Master. Would he survive the final battle with Sidious is up to your imagination.

@@haydeng3541 thats the point of inflection in both the fate of the galaxy and anakin's future, if he would have done the right thing(the stupidly obvious thing), the siths would have been deleted, the galaxy would be in peace because palpatine was playing in both sides of the war, anakin would have become master at some point, padme would not have died because she will feel not sadness and most likely wouldnt be extrangulated by anakin, making her having both babies and still live, because the surgeon told us that she is dying without reason, the only way she could be losing strengh is because she is heart broken, so she might live in this "sequel negated alternate but more plausible universe".

It makes sense why Anakin would turn to the dark side. Imagine a real world equivalent where you're just some poor kid and u join a company that u heard great things about to escape your terrible life. The company makes an exception for you because u're outstanding but they don't normally hire people from your background. However, the company constantly looks down on you for your background being different from the others. The company also demands 100% of your attention on devoting yourself to the company and following company rules. So no big attachments to things like family or love, no working for the money, etc, etc. So u mostly follow those rules and work like crazy to constantly prove yourself as you slowly rise up the ranks. Then a big project comes along and everyone is busy. Burnout happens as people start quitting and you take on more responsibility to complete the project. You're on top of it becoming the #1 achiever in your company as well as famous across the industry for what you did. Sometime during this period your mom dies but u couldn't see/visit her more due to company rules and they wouldn't let you take time off anyways. At this point you expect an actual promotion since u're basically doing 90% of the job anyways and you did such a great job. Plus, your hidden girlfriend needs access to the health insurance that the new promotion would give you. The company thinks of your background and decides to discriminate against you. So they quiet promote you instead. You take on 100% of the duties of that role but you don't get the job title so no increase in pay, no increase in prestige, no better health insurance, or any of that stuff because of your background.
