Omg finally someone who thought of putting the film in the original packaging! I always used my instax mini film packaging box as a photo frame or to store my pictures

great ideas, thanks for yet another great informative video... also, if anyone in North America is watching and reading, STAPLES is a store where you can buy all sorts of office needs. I found some great plastic boxes with snap on lids to store all sizes of INSAX WIDE, MINI and POLAROID. cheers, look forward to seeing your double exposures architecture video, Cheers, Joe in Toronto Canada

I usually by acid-free polaroid books that hold 80 100, sx70,600 films. They are cool and protective and super cheap on ebay.

I just use a normal negative binder with negative sleeves for 4"x5" negatives. The Polaroids fit perfectly and you can fit 2 of them (back to back) in one pocket. I prefer plastic sleeves, as you can easily see your picture without taking them out -- it is like an album (well, it actually is an album). Oh -- and here is a tip for all Fuijifilm Instax mini fans: Buy a business card folder/book. I got a cheap Chinese one (real leather bound!) from Am....on, which holds 180 pictures (2 in each pocket).

You gave me a great idea, how to store the ready photos on trips. My friends always had problems where to put their copies which I gave them on mountain tours. I can give them the paper box or the packaging so they could store it safe by the end of the journey. (Until now, I always dropped these into the dustbin at the beginning of the trip.)

On Polaroid's webside it says that they recommend you keep the polaroids in a cool and ventilated space for the first 30 days before storing them in plastic sleeves or boxes. Does anyone have recommendations for where you can store them while they're "drying" the first month? All of these seem like long-term storage.
@GiantParfait3 жыл бұрын
Late reply but you can just simply store them in a bamboo or shoe box with holes, do it can still breathe but is safe from light. You don't really have to wait that long tho, honestly. I toss my photos into an album personally.
@beppone256 жыл бұрын
I actually use these boxes from Ikea (www.ikea.com/it/it/catalog/products/40222607/) They are bamboo boxes, there are 2 in each pack at 10€, one, the smallest just fit perfectly a polaroid 600 or SX70, and the bigger one in which there's more room. The problem is, and that's what I'm asking you, do I need to cover them? because at the moment they are not covered but I'm afraid that dust can ruin them. What do you think?

Hi your video are amazing! I have a question... I just bought a polaroid one step close up a vintage one... I Was wonderig if the one step 2 (the new one) take better picture or, if it is, pretty much the same thanks a lot!!!

will be pretty much the same, if you want to step up the quality you need to go to sx-70

Thank you, I've been searching here in Palm Springs California but they have limited art supply stores, just the usual (Michaels crafts et et) a common dept. kind of store. I'm Canadian but stay in Palm Springs during the winter months, easy to keep shooting in a warmer climate other than the Toronto winters, lol... keep up the great work, I enjoy everything you've posted and I agree with your RANT a while back... I’ve been told polaroids and instax pictures will scratch if you place them on top of one another. Is that true? Also will polaroids fade if I hang them on my wall
