If you grew up in the late 80s and early 90s, you played the TMNT arcade game. You just did!

You mentioned pizza and beer at 9:40. I paused the video, ran to my local store to get the same exact menu then go back to the video then I'll play pocket just after this comment :) Thanks for the video man! I tested outrun but I can't get it work in dock mode with my pocket and my ps4 controller neither my arcade stick :( Have a great day!

@@VideoGameEsoterica Man I played Rastan. I honestly enjoyed the game, but I can't even beat the first level and I tried for an hour or so. I do not put coin at every death, I restarted from the start every single time. Maybe the beer has to do with my bad skills, I'll give another shot later today :) I'll play it with my 7yo son that will be with me this week end! Have a great day

Ooooh! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons. Two of the finest arcade brawlers that Konami ever made. I wish I can go back and time and relive those moments when they were being rolled off the distributors truck with the fresh new smell that they had when they were from the factory VGE. Anthony..

Love the border (just before) bullet hells became superhell :D Like all the Raizing, and Guwange and before Cave shooters. There are some good modern ones too that are just sub-bullet hell that are great! That said horizontal shooters were always my thing. R-Type, Air Buster, etc. Black Tiger is great too! Also Magic Sword if you’re into BT.

I knew you’d have played it, but figured for people looking for other games like it, I’d mention it. Also Astyanax (though it doesn’t have the Capcom panache. Legendary Axe on the TG16 is better IMO.

I understand TMNT and Turtles are still for Patreons only. Maybe one day those are released for everyone. Anyway I like older classic arcades Tapper, Up’n Down, Zaxxon, Spy Hunter, Circus Charlie, Pengo etc. There isn’t many of those for Analogue Pocket. Sure there’s Donkey Kong, Pooyan and Galaga, but not those games. Also Bubble Bobble isn’t released for everyone either.
