I agree you have posted enough content for the viewers to use as tools in improving their skiing. Take Care

Very nice format that has been seen to work on other youtube skiing channels. Reviewing and criticising people’s personal skiing enables the viewer to understand many skiing principles better by directly seeing the mistakes shown by the subject and then visualising what the subject should have done instead.

Hi Seb, I'm happy I could contribute to your online skiing instructions with the sample of my skiing 🙂 I think people like you or Projected Productions team do a great job with targeting more advanced skiers with tips and advice. I guess advanced skiers in particular could benefit from online personalised coaching because they already have tools to assess and correct their skiing and they don't depend so much on the physical presence of a ski instructor for the implementation of new skills.

Jakub, your right hip is most probably elevated relative to the left one (maybe escoliosis?), and maybe a bit forward too; that's why you do the left turn more with your "bum" or "hip", and is more aparent in gs turns as you have to stay longer on the turn. You don't find the same pressure as in your right turn because the hip is pressing less on the outside leg, due to the misalignment (you are less "on top of your skis") so you rely on sticking out the hip and other movements that tend to skid the outside ski. Solution? Try to bring your body more forward on the left turn, with, as he says, w the outside ski and hand starting the turn, so you can be more on top, and level the hip so you feel better pressure on outside ski throughout the turn.

I agree with you on personalized analysis and future coaching individually. As myself, lucly for me, I pick up things easily. And as I progres, I can wach videos with tips and try them on myself to see what works for me and what not. And usualy it works and I can easily uderstand what felings I have to expierience. However, I know few friends which are straggling and no meter how many videos they watch,it's hard for them to understand and use that information in their skiing. Also I would benefit from the coach too. To see my mistakes and move me in fastest direction of learning.

I'd try to move forward outside foot through the second half of the arc, in order to rotate pelvis (and upper body) inside the turn.

And there are two more kinds of movements to improve skiing. One is well-known feet rolling to initiate edging earlier. Another is outside ski foot rotation on the high edge angles. It makes outside ski tip's edge grip perfect by additional pressurising it to the snow. By outside foot rotational movement. It really works great.

Beat The Clock, Seems to me like this skier adds more pressure to inside ski thru middle and end of turn reducing outside ski grip. My suggestion would be to focus on balance against outside ski thru entire turn. But what does Beat The Clock advise ??? To me this format is only helpful with analysis, explanation, and corrective drills as part of the video. In other words, applying the fundamentals to individual skiers and their needs. Thank you.

Personalised feedback sounds nice on paper or KZbin video, but in reality it is unattainable or prohibitively expensive. Maybe I have been unlucky but in my experience, very few ski instructors have ability to train adults beyond basics, even fewer understand individual biomechanics and limitations. All I hear is "good skiing", "much improvement", etc., while the only real change happened just in my wallet 🙂
