The Philippines/Filipinos have great economic potentials but there are hindrances to overcome.💡 hope the Philippines will NOT miss the chance

Remember a weak government and corrupt politicians will never let our country reach its full potential. Lalo na puro ayuda ginagawa instead of long term solution.

puro din nman ayuda sa usa. mga illegals pa nga ang unang nakikinabang. but i like the negativity of the resource person. it is a self operating algorithm.

As long as economics and politics are intertwined in this country, we will never achieve our full potential. Our problem is structural. We are dependent on imports and hot money, and we don't have a manufacturing base.

The Philippines' 5.6% growth was the fastest among the ASEAN countries and 2nd among the major economies after India. External factors are affecting the growth of the Philippines as well as the rest of the world except a few countries like Guyana which are supported by oil, gas and coal production. The Philippine economy is actually performing really well. The problem is, our economic planners commit the mistake of projecting growth numbers which, in reality, are really very difficult to hit. So when these very optimistic numbers are not hit, it gives the impression that the economy is not doing well, people get disappointed, and critics of the administration are given added ammunition to spread negative narratives against the administration. Our economic managers should set realistic targets and publicly announce them. That way, peoplw will really appreciate the fact that the Philippine economy is doing better than that of most countries.

5.6% growth of the Philippines comes from remittances coming from OFW. There's no other factors which can add to the economic growth of the Philippines.

Recto performance is actually disappointing. PH economic numbers under him is always below expectation. Currency is at a record low. Inflation is still high.

The Philippines is so far behind other nations in ASEAN. It has to wake up or it will fall even farther behind. I was just in Vietnam, and they are already so much more developed than the Philippines when it comes to infrastructure and logistics. Hanoi makes Manila look very third world.

Not true. I’ve visited Hanoi last month. Chaotic, with only single LRT line. Motorcycles everywhere. Their CBD really is so far behind than BGC or Makati or even Ortigas alone. The roads lack markings. There are no sidewalks or not enough. Sidewalk vendors are everywhere. No order. Don’t propagate fake news here.

@@RR52517 Thank you for your response to such people. The problem with some Filipinos is that they are the ones that push down The Philippines. They reinforce negative images and optics of The Philippines instead of becoming the Ambassadors that promote the country. Let just understand them because they are either sad or angry. Let us be the positive people that promote for the betterment of the country.

@@Yk-if3ev Right. In real life, I have no interest with these trashy and low life Pinoys but sometimes, I need to give them a dose of hard pill. Modesty aside, I live comfortably. Life is great.
