The proposed long term widespread infiltration of major Iranian systems would disrupt and degrade communications, power grid, and other vital systems as desired by the cyber attackers. Hizballah is actually serving Iranian interests, and the Ayatollahs are very happy to see any escalation, as long as they don't have to pay any price. These people worship death, especially of their enemies, but also they don't mind about their own people. How on earth can you use use diplomacy to stop them from attacking? Will you lift sanctions and/or give them money to buy more weapons?

The resolution calls for a full cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon to be replaced by Lebanese and UNIFIL forces deploying to southern Lebanon, and the disarmament of armed groups including Hizbaffoons, with no armed forces other than UNIFIL and Lebanese military south of the Litani River, which flows about 29 km (18 mi) north of the border. It emphasizes Lebanon's need to fully exert government control.
