@Analytics Mania Great work very useful tutorial. I have a question? How to properly configure the data stream if an online store sells on several foreign markets in different languages? Create a separate stream for each language or can I analyze data at the report or exploration level according to language/country? What is the best practice in this case?

If you want to see data of all markets in the same reports, use one stream. Then work with segments and comparisons

A great video - thanks for sharing -I was not aware of GA-4 conversion and accessed my web-site after 2 years. I see a GA-4 property, perhaps automatically set-up, but do not see any data flowing. I would start from scratch then. Create a new property and install it on the website. And remove all old codes from your website

Hi Julius, great video. Quick question, I have had a new website with GA4 running for about two months now but only now decided to change the domain. I want to keep the data gathered so far but would I need to just change my data stream detail to the new URL while keeping everything else the same (same tracking snippet, ids etc)? yes, you can change the URL in the data stream settings, also check the cross-domain settings if that is relevant. And then make sure to keep using the same tracking code

Since you have opted in to use GTM, why not continue sending events through it? You could push the data to the data layer (through code) and then use GTM to send that event to GA4 (but also you could send it to other analytics/marketing tools you're using)

@@AnalyticsMania In this case I am interested in having this gtag api accessible so that other third party scripts have the possibility to send custom events programmatically. Using the method you mention, I understand that it would require an extra step on the part of the owner of the Google Tag Manager account to be obliged to observe those events that have been set using dataLayer and then send them to GA4.
