Hey Julius, I tried the setup, but the cookie values are not stored on the Browser. Any idea?

Really liked the var stored in cookie part. For this particular problem (If you aren't bound to the GUI) I would prefer to write a BQ SQL script using window functions and viz it with Looker

A super video. Would it be possible to build a GA4 audience for search keywords? For example, if more than 1000 people per month search for the same keyword, in this case it would be possible to do remarketing only to people who searched for that specific keyword.

If you can, I would try to use groups of related search terms or any search which included a particular keyword. Higher likelihood of reaching the thresholds.

To be a Web Analysts which playlist of your channel is suitable for me?

Everything. And even that will not be fully enough. That's why I have courses, too analyticsmania.com/courses

This is very cool but I wouldn't really place much value on the result as a user could search on many different keywords in a session for one thing. Secondly, it is a bold statement to say that a keyword search led to a direct purchase. Thoughts?

True. For me it would be better to just create an Segment in a custom report with user/sessions where the search event was triggered. In that case I don't have to deal with extra cookies etc.

I was thinking of using add to cart events with the search term instead. If you really wanted to get crazy, attach a search term to each item in the purchase as well. I also would not assume a keyword led to a purchase, but I would take it as an indicator of the user being able to find what they are looking for. In other words, if I have a ton of searches for a term with few add to carts or purchases, maybe there's an issue with the search results for that term or an issue with that product or products.

You cannot create a sequence in the session segment. So if you create a segment eith a site search, then you also include session where search happened after the purchase. If you decide to create a user segment (with a sequence where a search happened), the results are even more misleading

Of course, you should be looking at this with a grain of salt. I just showed a method to find keywords that are closer to the transaction than others

I just showed the concept. You are free to expand this further based on your needs
