Mice and humans share, on average, about 85 percent of their DNA, which is one reason why mice are so useful for medical research." [And why it might not be so ethical to use them for it?] ... "Humans ... share about 80 percent [DNA] with cows, 61 percent with bugs such as fruit flies." - Sciencing website So maybe not so weird to talk to bugs. Personally I don't mind bugs unless they are actively bothering me. Predators like spiders I fear instinctively, but they usually leave humans alone unless they're being bothered. It's the human spiders you gotta watch out for.

When I first went vegan I followed exclusively "100% whole foods or nothing" youtubers. I was concerned about protein, so I started eating beans, lentils, and split peas with almost every meal. Sometimes tofu, but usually beans..... I HAD SO MUCH GAS, SWAYZE! It got so bad that I was embarrassed to go to work 😭😂. I worked in a tiny coffee stall in the airport. Everyone knew. EVERYONE. I almost gave up on the diet because I had been conditioned to believe that this was the only healthy way to be vegan. I'm so glad I came to my senses. 5 years later, I eat a balanced vegan diet and my body, and my friends and neighbors, thank me for it 🤣

This is random, but something I've always kind of wondered about. Were you ever with your partner while raw? If so was he ever raw or what did he think about it? Did he notice a significant difference in your physical and mental health once going back to a raw diet? What are his thoughts on your book that you've disavowed? I understand and completely respect that you do not incorporate your family in the channel. I feel the same way and hope my questions don't come across differently. Just curious if these are things you would want or are comfortable sharing. I respect and understand if they aren't. Obviously there are couples who do the raw vegan diet together on videos. However, the people who I've seen that have a partner that doesn't eat raw, never really say much about it, aside from being passive aggressive about it in videos. The raw vegan diet seems all consuming and obviously can cause some significant negative effects to your physical/mental health. I wonder if that causes a significant impact on relationships. Especially if one partner isn't doesn't do the raw diet and the other partner has taken on the raw vegan diet as a type of ideology.
