Thanks for the detailed explanation! A calibration from 2011 on an old DTX-1800, thus more than 10y old, could it skew the results on CAT6 cable reports to make it pass instead of fail? The version of the DTX-1800 seems to be the latest, 2.78.

wow, this is just the info i have been looking for. i would like to see how much PLC network testing can be done with Wireshark compared to Fluke equipment? thanks a lot...:)

Hi Mike, Thank you for your sharing, can i ask you something about report LinkwarePC for UTP, What is the meaning Headroom 5.5 dB (NEXT 3,6-4,5) Also why the - resistance (ohms) - Insertion Loss Margin (dB) - Frequency (MHz) - Limit dB) not show the limit ? thank you Mike
