Another thing I just noticed: While making this video I couldn’t figure out who the person sitting on the other side of Tom at the convention was, besides Edd. It only struck me after uploading this that what it looks to be is the mad scientist character from asdfmovie 2 who teaches a llama to drive. This character was voiced by Chris “Bing” Bingham, and so him being at the convention and then disappearing could represent the falling out Chris and Tom had.
Anyway good on Tom, The Gregory Brothers, Wonchop and everyone else involved for making a great video. I had fun looking into it.

I think the muffin cried at the end because Tomska played with the idea of leaving asdf, including muffin, behind. And I think the sheep was a reminder that even if Tomska himself felt the delivery of the joke butchered, the massive success with (and love from) his fans is still untouched, encouraging him to move forward and evolve as a person, entertainer and... ... ... ... animator.

Nice shirt plug ;D The only bit you arguably got wrong was that dance move was them hanging themselves rather than drinking. The dab was supposed to be just the muffin preparing the pull the noose, but I totally made it a dab when Tom showed up cos lol.

Thanks for this, I was wondering why I kept rewatching Muffin song, and this has made me realize it's because I can relate to TomSka a lot. The way I see it, all his jokes about suicide are because he wants to mock the idea of killing oneself, but at the same time he's having trouble finding the motivation to live. I've felt this before as well. I've never thought about killing myself, but at the same time I've also had moments where life just doesn't feel fulfilling. But I still want to live, which in a way makes it more painful. It's something I still struggle with.

I recognized Edd, (mostly because he looked like the I Like Trains Kid) but I don’t know who that who that other person who faded was. I also feel like that person (who looks like The Guy Who Taught a Llama to Drive now that I think about it) might be a big piece of the puzzle. Not just in what the song means about Tom, but also in ASDF lore.

It's also worth noting that the "no llama, no" guy is at the asdf table before disappearing. That guy is voiced by Chris Bingham, one of Tom's old KZbin friends who he fell out with over personal drama. So that section isn't just about Edd's death, but about an increasing sense of isolation and bearing more weight on his own shoulders.

Tom used to be like, a lot happier and less sarcastic before Edd died. the death of his friend impacted him greatly, or so it really *really* seems like it. if you watch Matt (another friend of Edd, if it wasn't obvious) you can see that he is really sad and less happier than usual. in a documentary about Edd, Tom says something about cartoons living forever and how he wished Edd could do something with that idk I watched the video awhile back- anyway I enjoyed this, good video!

I still remember the day that video came up on my recommended videos on KZbin, like 6 years ago.... after being an avid fan of Eddsworld.... I'd actually sat there a few days before it came up, like, "gosh it's been a while since Eddsworld had made a video", so I kept rewatching those silly short ones like JunkinoMoe. This was way different than my interpretation which revolved more around how the "real" scene as I've been calling it was focusing on Tom and how he loved doing asdfmovie but the more popular it got and the more fans he had the more people who were the main part in his life leading up to its creation left, like Edd's death and whatnot. When I saw the woman singing I thought the same thing for the most part where it seemed like Tom really wanted to just stop making it but I also got the feeling it was also talking about how the connection he had with people like Edd will always live on cause cartoons live forever then like you said walking into the sunset with the muffin he decides he can do it with the support of others and make it better than before.

Ok, that's awesome, HOWEVER! Given that Tomska is with the I Like Trains kid which represents Edd, he's also with the clown, who represents the voice actor of that character, Chris Bingham, showing how Tom has a very bad habit of drifting away or even alienating past and current contacts, as he has shown during various times when commenting on the contents of his TomSka's Day Out videos.
