Michael, my parents live in Ivins and one day when I took my kids up there, we fell into step with 2 women who were also walking up. One was an author doing research and the other was named White Feather? She was at the time the head of a Native American organization there in St. George. She kindly took the time to explain the meanings of these petroglyphs and basically they are telling the stories of the plan of salvation, about the life of Jesus Christ and his divinity etc. It was incredible! I hope you’ll be able to find her and learn more. Also, she explained that hill was sacred and used as an Anasazi teaching place long ago, a place where they would come from afar to learn sacred things. Love your channel!!

When I served my mission in AZ, petroglyphs were everywhere and I loved staring at them - just wondering what they might've represented.

I did a land survey there. I got a control point just above the Petroglyphs. What you’re trying to do is follow the Shadow right as the sun rises. If you notice there are two serpents packed in the rocks. the shadow and the sunlight represent the serpent moving across the rocks that tells a story. There are other videos on this that are amazing. When I was there doing the survey I got to talk to the guy that did the video and explained a lot to me. I also know some of the petroglyphs or Paiute and Aztec not all Anasazi. It’s an amazing place.

I saw that one too.....I actually belly-laughed 😁, bless their hearts I guess 🙂. There has been a few times they mention early church history on Ancient Aliens, it gives you an idea about their research methods when you realize how goofy their interpretation is. I still watch Ancient Aliens though.....they are fishing in the dark, but their proverbial broken clock is almost right twice a day, every once in a while 😏. Mostly because the accepted version of history that is peddled at school is not what it seems to be. It is not good to get so wrapped up in secular versions of history that we doubt what prophets have said about it. History and science are always in flux and subject to change and improvement.....I guess that is why alternative history theories are fun to watch, even if it’s Ancient Aliens. Unfortunately, some of this Ancient Aliens theory is going to confuse people about the second coming though.

I wanted to add that the people who were buried in these mounds that were layered were the Eternal ones. They were buried this way because each person represented a "realm" we have our own realms and are not apart from that realm. So these were set up the way the heavens extend, inward then out ward in a sphere.
