For years, I have wanted to have the opportunity to tell a little bit of the Eddie Alvarez journey since I arrived onto the MMA scene. I started with the Blackzilians and Eddie had just departed. Finally after 5 years, I was able to join Eddie and his family for a few days and learn a small peace of THE UNDERGROUND KING'S story. Here is the Anatomy of Eddie Alvarez.
I want to thank One Championship for the opportunity we talked about over a year ago. I had a vision to branch out into the MMA universe and help promote fighters from around the world. The way One Championship brand is and how active they are promoting fighters, I have always wanted to collaborate with them, so here it is. The Anatomy of One on TNT 1. Fights will be live next week on TNT April 7th....

Eddie's TKO of RDA was one of the craziest moments ever, you can see the look of horror on Joe Silva's face in the corner when dos anjos got rocked because they didn't want Eddie to win. Then later he went on to do the same to Gaethje before he left the ufc. Truly the underground king.

Eh think you're imagining things. There's no reason why the UFC would want RDA as champ over Eddie. Of course I'm sure they would have rather Gaethje won, since he was the hot new prospect, but there was no reason to not want Eddie to win the belt other than he had a couple of boring wins just before he won the belt.
