The first half of the kzbin.infoUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

I JUST made this. Easy, peasy to build, strong and sturdy. I dont know where youre buying your fancy 2-3/4 #8 but not at Lowes. #8 stops at 2" and #9 is 2-1/2" or 3". J/S.Still need to finish but Im using it right now for my pc table on my patio. Thanks girl.

This is exactly what I wanted to make for my first project now that the warm weather is here! I’ve been watching your videos all winter and am inspired to start - I bought a jig saw because I’m afraid of the circular saw lol. Thanks for these great videos and free plans! In the video it looks like the inner frame is flushed with the legs (frame dimensions would need to be increased), and on the instructions the inner frame is flushed to the apron edge, which is the proper way to attach?
