My favourite thing about the last mission of varaine is that if you use the dragon heart for the immortality potion it turns you into an immortal kobold which in my game meant an additional Pu on kobildzan the miraculously formed

I can confirm that New Corveld always get these event, up to the "Anbecost of the east" or something like that, starting when you rebuild the city with the decision. Have a potion on the way out, nice little country.

I am playing as Varainé rn, A good idea at the start is to ally Ibevar so you can vassalize Silverforge early on and steal the electorate from them

Huh, I played Varaine a while back and ended up becoming Emperor and passing plenty of reforms but didn't revoke since it wasn't what I was going for. Never clicked how busted that would be with the gov reform.

Like many things in linguistics, the meaning of "var" is heavily dependent on ✨context✨. In Elven it can mean "green", it can be short for "silvar" (meaning "forest"), it can be part of "dahvar" (meaning "divine"), and it can even be a possessive ("Varivar" means "Varilor's Forest" and "Varillen" means "Varila's Glade"). In Gerudian it can mean "spring" or it can be part of "vard" (meaning "watch" or "ward") or "vargr" (meaning "wolf"), and similarly in Orcish "gorgvar" means "wolf-rider", and that's not even getting into relatively minor Elven dialects!

Corvuria is definitely a great time, ashienade too but if you like blobbing more than diplomacy Corvuria is the better pick. Plus some of ashienade's missions can be very tedious since they require a bunch of anbennarian countries to have the vampire estate but you have to wait 5 years inbetween spreading it and if you fail you still need to wait

I have a question what is your best dwarven hold for a fun game? At the moment i play amildir to create dwarven empire but i would like to see your opinions. If you think some other tag offers a better experience i am ready to listen.

It‘s tough to say. There are so many now and they really depend on your knowledge of the game and the tolerance for nonesense. Krakdhumvror is quite popular, but a slow start can mess up your game and cause frustration. Verkal Dromak amd Hul az Krakazol are surreal and very fun, but have very high difficulty. I‘d say Segdihr might be a good middle of the road, or maybe Khugdihr as well. You get to interact with the outside of the mountain but not a hard expansion. Ovdal Lodhum can also be interesting, but it relies a bit too much on the AI doind some smart things, so it can be a bit hit or miss.

@@kml6482 Oh, no worries. Mithradhum is pretty militaristic. Also Segdihr and Orlghelovar's missions give them elite armies, but in little numbers. But I think the best and easiest for the moment is Orlazam-az-Dihr, to the right of Almdihr. They get stupid strong and cheap cavalry and dominate the battlefield with them.

I was actually thinking about it, but the Magisterium I feel is very important when you play as literally anyone else due to their awesome tower project, while playing as the Magisterium themselves ends up not being that interesting.

@@luka.pilasanovic Ah, I see! Most province modifyers are lost on conquest in Anbennar, but the Magisterium tower is one that is not lost. At its maximum level, it gives 10% all power cost reduction, in addition to some other bonuses and is super valuable to have and to conquer.
