I am loving these wellness podcasts Alex!! My husband and I have been struggling with unexplained infertility for the past 6 years. I recently went to a doctor that believes in healing your body with food. I discovered that my liver is the reason I’m not getting pregnant because of all the food and products we intake. I’ve been on a very strict diet of only eating meat, fruit and vegetables, olive, coconut, and avocado oil. Honey and maple syrup. Rice and quinoa. I feel amazing. Some of the symptoms that I’ve been dealing with for years have gone. And I used to not be able to eat apples and cherries because I was allergic to them, and now I can eat them!

My childhood bestie was Polish, and whenever I'd sleepover at her house in the summer, her parents would ALWAYS be sunbathing in the backyard naked 😅 I remember being like wow that is so odd - now I'm just like, you go guys... just maybe wait until your kid's friend goes home lol

😂😂😂 Hahaha yes wait for the kids to be gone, but wow soo healthy!! Thankfully, we began following this way of eating and living before we conceived our first child, and have had extremely nutrient dense pregnancies, and first foods and never incorporated the conventional medicines that were seen as a norm for infants and children. We also sunbathe seasonally as your children , and we do not use sunblock, but instead, gradually build up sun tolerance as the seasons change, and we have extremely healthy, robust children that never gets sick.

I was on soy formula as a baby, and grew up mostly on processed food until I was in high school and I started learning about nutrition. My entire life I’ve had low energy even when I eat well, asthma, have struggled with my weight (I was obese as a child), hypothyroidism, I could go on. My parents did the best they could, I’m not blaming them but sometimes I feel like the damage has been done and I will have effects of poor nutrition as a child for the rest of my life. Praise God that during the formula shortage in 2022, I learned that I’m unable to have a full breastmilk supply and my oldest was a few weeks old, I found the Weston A Price baby formula recipe and WOW. We don’t have access to grass fed milk where we are unfortunately, so we use conventional (yes I know the risks I went to school for animal science and was a herdsman at a dairy for years, grass fed is safer hands down) but my oldest is so healthy and strong. My second was born 6 weeks premature and I put him on homemade formula after he got out of the NICU and he is THRIVING. Their doctor is incredibly impressed with their growth and development and has no issue with them being on raw milk. I recommend this recipe to everyone 😂

THANK YOU for this interview! FINALLY, someone who is healthy and sober in their whole health thinking. Nothing in this interview is extreme nor ANY mention of woo woo b.s. fad health stuff that isn't logical and full of incorrect b.s. Nothing drives me crazier than an extremist spouting off stuff that isn't even true. I APPRECIATE a sober, logical, fact based interview on health and healthy living.

Ahh i love Hilda! I first found WAPF at the end of 2022 when I discovered Kori Meloy. I was into fitness & believed that real milk was fattening & never ate red meat. After I heard about ancestral eating I INSTANTLY switched to real raw milk, grass fed butter & lots of beef. I got pregnant within months after doing this & knew it was the diet. I wasn’t aware of any fertility struggles, but I got off birth control in 2021 so that says a lot. We have a healthy 5 month old baby boy now ❤

Love this for you! I really think that our bodies mostly tell us what feels good and healthy. What kind of movement feels best, what kind of lifestyle feels best, what kinds of foods even. Now, those intuitions and senses can be deceived by the engineered fake "food", but we know those are unhealthy. With natural foods, your body tells you what it needs through cravings, I think.

This was a phenomenal episode, Alex! I just continue to be more and more impressed by your content. Thank you so much for sharing this message and knowledge of how to thrive. My old naturopath recommended the Weston A. Price diet which I follow for the most part. My teen not so much. This has inspired me to do better. I also own Nourishing Traditions. For my breakfast/lunch today I had homemade bone broth (seasoned with Celtic sea salt) with grass fed ground beef fried in local butter. Hamburger soup lol. Tell me, where can I get the healthiest beeswax candles? And where can I get the best blue light blocker red glasses? I’d love your recommendations. I have mast cell activation syndrome which is like PTSD of the immune system with Lyme and mold illness (CIRS). I haven’t used candles in years because of toxins.

But i do my best and spend 12 dollars a week on a gallon of raw milk and we have chickens, and buy kelly gold grass fed butter. Trying to get as much animal fat in our diets as possible and cooking in beef fat. Also it was Johnson and Johnson that had the carcinogenic sunscreens and they also sell skin cancer treatments. Weird coincidence huh? There may have been others that are carcinogenic as well

Are there any studies someone could point to that would indicate that imported produce is BAD for someone in one area because it was grown in a different area? I've never heard that concept before, and it sounds... out there, if I'm honest. But if it's legit, then I'll be on board! I just want to see the studies. Are they all in the books being referenced? I'm so grateful for your podcast, Alex. I'm 24 and married, and my husband and I are both learning about all of this stuff about the chemicals rampant in our food and water, and we've been working hard to make as much of our food as possible from scratch. The next step I'm looking toward is sourcing our meat and dairy and produce from local farmers markets, and figuring out how we need to adjust our budget to make that work! Your podcast guests have helped us SO much in this journey. Especially since we want to start our family soon, and I want to raise them on the absolute healthiest, most natural and satiating diet possible.

My husband and I recently moved in with my parents (to save money on rent while going back to school) and they do so many things differently than we have done for the last 8 years living apart from them. They have an electric stove top so we cannot use our cast iron pan and have been using their Teflon pans. We used to turn off our wifi every night but being here, the wifi is attached to their alarm system so we cannot turn off the wifi. My mom loves the plug in wall scents and soy candles which we only use coconut candles. I have tried to educate them as I best as I can, as often as I can but it’s so exhausting to have to remind them every day. I’m going to invest in steel pots/pans, and beg my mom to only use coconut wax candles but I don’t know what to do about the wifi. Does anyone have suggestions?

I've been an ardent defender of Alex and nearly everything she says since before her TPUSA days. We truly have so much in common and I always imagined we would be friends if we knew one another personally. I've been in her cuteservatives group for years. I buy merch, i even defend Taylor Swift for Alex even though I'm into metal music. 😆 The judgement that's been allowed to permeate that Facebook group is disgusting. I watched as (probably hundreds) of girls were booted from the group today because they spoke up about the mean girl spirit of so many in the group. Even ones who didn't react on the post were booted. It says in the group description that its a judgement free group. That could *not* be further from the truth. I am 99% sure it was Alex herself that did the banning of the members. I have watched every live on my other KZbin account, and constantly engaged in everything for support. No longer. Alex, I'm sorry for what you're going through, but this has been at a boiling point for a while. Almost unhinged in your defensiveness for every ounce of disagreement someone shows for one of your *opinions* . I've missed the old feel of the show for a while, but stayed out of some sense of loyalty, idk why. I hope everything goes well for you, Alex. ☹️🩷

Well this kind of went off the rails but I like the spirit 😂 Alex I think you should push back a bit more sometimes and ask critical questions. Like, what is a light environment? Why exactly does local food matter? What about environments where there is not a lot of fresh produce for a good bit of the year (Alaska)? Do we truly think humans nutrient needs vary based on environment? This came to close to sounding more like mumbo-jumbo than actual wholesome eating advice to me lol

Interesting how our ancestors had much shorter life expectancy than people today. They were lucky to make it to age 50.

I think it's a balance in all things. Obviously, people got sick back then despite eating better. And some of the sickness was deadly whereas now they don't have to be deadly. Balance of good diet and sometimes visiting the doctor.

I think it is because we take the average age for death toll. Infant death rate was really high, so the average is different than it is today with low infant death.
