I started the carnivore diet I was just diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, pre-type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. I was so sure I was about to die and honestly, I probably was. now 7 months later I have lost 70 lbs, all the Parkinson's symptoms have gone away, and I'm off all my blood pressure meds, I've bought a bike and I ride it every day. I am now on a mission to get in the best health I can get to. So did it work for me, yes.

2 year carnivore here. I’ve lost over 500 lbs (yes, not a typo!). I agree diets are not one size fits all. For me, carnivore works! Being 800lbs is restrictive. Eating meat only has freed me from thinking about food 24/7, cravings, i now have an off switch. Food is no longer the highlight of my life. I now have a life. It’s not for everyone. But for me, I feel better now in my 50’s than I did in my 20’s! I weigh less now too! :)

Lindy, I've been following you for quite awhile, with Bella and the SBG. You have an amazing story, and I just subbed to your channel. During my 1+ year Carnivore journey, I've watched many different channels and have followed Dr. Berg for quite some time, too. I'm so glad that he is open-minded towards Carnivore. I noticed for some time that he was meat heavy, so while seeing this video was not a surprise, it is very pleasing to see his perspective. If anyone sees this comment, I hope they go a step further to go check out your channel and Bella's channel. Watching her channel helped me as I began my Carnivore journey, and I still quite enjoy it.

Ken Berry and how to do it right. It's super simple and the best!! There's a whole community of us out there 😊 Forgot about toilet. Dr. Berry speaks on that as well, but my gut issues left on the 3rd day and I go probably 1 to 3 x weekly just fine. 50 year old male. Was on SAD diet my whole life then Vegan diet from age 46 to 48. Felt like I was dying and two years ago at age 48 started the carnivore diet. I feel the best eating ribeye, ground elk, ground hamburger, eggs, bacon, butter, salt, San Peligrino, and two cups black coffee in the morning. So that’s all I eat. I reversed these health issues. Pre diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, lost 70pounds, brain fog, depression, anxiety, joint paint throughout whole body. I started keto through learning from Dr Berg and felt great but quickly switched to the carnivore diet and feel even better.

Something that I appreciated about going carnivore almost two years ago is that by consuming only meat as a discipline, one eliminates SO much processed food. That alone strengthened my body in so many ways. No processed grains, no seed oils, no sugar, because all of these categories of food were no longer in my shopping cart OR my now-balanced body. The mental fog is gone. That took two weeks. Joy appeared, and I didn’t even have to pursue it. The time that I used to spend shopping for and preparing food was diminished. Less dishes to wash and less left-overs filling my fridge. Good fresh meat, quality salt and plenty of water set me on a new path to great health. Sixty pounds of my old self is gone, never to return. Two weeks is not long enough, Dr. Berg. And it makes sense to start out with just beef and salt, then add other things like chicken, fish, and cheese to see how you react. Found out that I do best eating once a day until I am full, then fasting for 20-24 hours. Life-changing!

Hi Dr Berg. My husband and I have tried carnivore several times. My husband thrives on carnivore, but I crave my salads. I had success on your simple keto (grass fed burger, grass fed cheese, grass fed butter with a large green salad) OMAD in 2018. However, since chemo 2018-2019, I have struggled with diet…. Keto, carnivore, etc. We’ve put weight on adding foods or doing keto recipes. 2024 we’ve decided to go back to basics. I’m down 10 lbs. my husband is down some weight. We are eating the simplest diet… I am 60 post triple positive breast cancer (taxol, Herceptin, Perjetta) and my husband is 59- 6’5” and “big boned”. We are feeling good, more energy, no cravings (although yesterday, I was emotional and craved a snack… I had some strawberries with cottage cheese). With having no food in our house helps a lot. I have 50 lbs that I want to loose. I struggle continuously, but I am with you… I miss my salad with the meat!

You’re probably not on iodine. You need to take 10 drops of iodine daily and your husband too. Iodine gets rid of any foreign body invaders like cancer cells. It gets rid of toxins from the non organic vegetables and the fluoride from drinking water toothpaste etc. iodine is extremely important for everyone and especially if you’ve had any polyps cancer etc. there’s not one organ of the body it doesn’t affect. The brain needs it the most. Get yourself informed. Dr. Brownstein has written about all the research in his iodine books. He also has videos you can watch.

I was praying one day and God dropped this into my heart to let her go all meat for a few weeks... That same week she slept like a baby. Knees quit hurting. Her colon didn't hurt again. I was amazed. 2 weeks is not enough to go carnivore. There are many side effects some people get from adjusting to ketosis which make the experience miserable. They can last week's or in rare cases months before your body adjusts. Since everyone nowadays is a genius they can say they were wrong in the past but they never make mistakes so maybe carnivore is good for a time but they will never admit it isn’t working so you got to take what they say with a grain of salt. I’m currently like 90 percent carnivore and it’s helping but how will I feel when I’m below 15 percent body fat? I got a bad knee and working out and cold showers and going keto almost carnivore all helped but it did bulge when I stopped eating turmeric so I know plants do have beneficial aspects to them. I see no difference in my workout being more carnivore than when I was carnivore and fruit as far as energy but I am losing weight slightly faster. I am hanging out at the gym much longer because I’m bored I would make a thanksgiving dinner once a month or a beef pot pie sometimes dinners could take an hour or two to make (I ofcourse had plenty of leftovers) now I’m just cooking steaks and hard boiling eggs and pickling them. So I go to the gym alot

I have eaten a carnivore diet for about 9 years now. Going carnivore was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The carnivore diet has completely cured my acne, my skin now looks amazing, my performance in the gym has skyrocketed, I've lost all excess body fat, and I have incredible energy all day long. The diet is super simple and super easy. I just eat meat, poultry, fish, salt, and water. I don't eat anything else and I do not eat organs. I don't intentionally intermittent fast (although it tends to happen naturally), I don't restrict how much I eat, and I don't spend crazy amounts of time working out. I eat as much as I want, whenever I want, and always stay at my optimum weight. I have experienced no downsides whatsoever from this way of eating. That being said, I 100% agree that everyone is different and there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to diet. Thank you for this video, Dr. Berg, it's nice to see the carnivore diet getting more attention.

no downsides after 9 years? you can't be very self aware then. we aren't carnivores. it's gonna pop up somewhere. we are a frugivore species, that "one size fits all" thing actually works. like with every other species. the only difference is, after millenia, and decades of poor habits, it will take about a decade to fully transition to our natural species specific diet, for a lot of people ; and that's if it's done right.

@@saszablaze1 It seems you have been misinformed. Humans have spent about 99% of our existence as a species as hyper carnivorous apex predators, almost exclusively eating animals. This is widely accepted within paleoanthropology, which is the scientific study of human evolution. It wasn't until about 10,000 years ago, during the agricultural revolution, when humans started consuming significant amounts of plants. However, our genetics have not changed in any meaningful way in the last 100,000 years. So, by the theory of evolution, humans are carnivores. This fact can also be seen in human physiology and anatomy. For instance, the cecum is an organ in the body that is necessary for the digestion of plants, but it is not necessary for the digestion of meat. Herbivores typically have large and well developed cecums whereas carnivores typically have small and poorly functioning cecums. Humans have one of the smallest and least functional cecums in the entire animal kingdom. Another example is human stomach acidity. Stomach acidity is highly correlated to species-specific diet because the acid is responsible for breaking down and digesting the food you eat, and plants are best digested at a different pH than meat is. Herbivores typically have a stomach acidity of about 4-6, omnivores typically have a stomach acidity of about 1.5-3.5, and carnivores typically have a stomach acidity of about 1-2. Human stomach acidity is typically about 1.5. As you can see, human stomach acidity perfectly aligns with the idea that humans are carnivores. Our anatomy also demonstrates this. Carnivores tend to have their eyes at the front of their face whereas herbivores tend to have eyes to the sides. Humans, like carnivores, have our eyes at the front. There is also clear ecological evidence that humans are carnivores. Humans are blatantly the top of the food chain. We are the most dominant apex predator that has ever existed by far. No other species even comes close. Being an apex predator is defined by two things: first a lack of natural predators (humans have none) and second the ability to kill and eat other species. Humans are so good at killing and eating other species we literally have to put laws in place to prevent ourselves from hunting other species to extinction. We even have to do this with species that are themselves considered apex predators, such as lions. This demonstrates how far above any other species humans are on the food chain. None of this is to say that everyone needs to go on a carnivore diet, that eating plants is terrible for everyone under all circumstances, or even that there aren't benefits to eating some kinds / amounts of plants. For instance, cats are carnivores yet they can benefit from eating grass. Similarly, wolves are carnivores and they can benefit from eating berries. But, to say humans are not carnivores is to deny basic principles of biology and a very significant body of evidence.

Welcome to the light Dr Berg. I’ve been doing this life style now for a little over 11 months. I’m quite strict, but have known to have a green curry chicken here and there…. Boy do I pay the price with reflux from veering off course. Personally for my body, beef and organic eggs are the best fuel for it. I no longer see food as anything other than fuel for the body!! This is my brief very short story: I’ll be 50 this year. After 3-4 months of being a carnivore, I felt in my 30’s again After 5-6 months, I felt in my 20’s and after around 9 months I’ve never felt so energetic in my life!! 2023 Christmas I went to an Italian restaurant, I said I’ll eat whatever they serve, I think it was 5 courses in total. 1. oysters and prawns 2nd and 3rd both pasta dishes (ravioli and gnocchi) 4. Lamb with vegetables 5. Dessert After 2 hours of sitting there I stood up, I hardly could walk. The pain in both my knee joints was excruciating. Everyone on the table were laughing, thinking I was joking - I was NOT. I had an auto immune response to the garbage I just ate, it was so obvious. People do this on a daily basis and don’t ever figure this out. They go the the drug pusher (doctor) and get pills the from western drug cartels (big pharma). Then are told it’s genetics and need to be on pills for the rest of their lives. Carnivore is the greatest elimination diet and every one should try it and then introduce food that their body can handle. For me food is fuel and I now eat to live and not live to eat!!

So many people filling their own world and the world of everyone they love with more animal abuse, more needless suffering and death just to pretend they need to feed like lions or some other creature that actually needs to devour animals in order to be well even though there is objectively no such thing as a physiological human carnivore... So heartwarming... Such progress humans are making... They really are getting in touch with their peaceful and loving "higher natures" and their basic biology/physiology and not confused at all... What could go wrong... ;-)

I'm happy to see you shedding some light on carnivore. I'm one that only had minor results on keto, but when I went carnivore even my toughest decade-long issue was reversed three months in. I was really suffering for years, including extreme bloating (by evening I looked 11 months pregnant and had pain into my shoulders and back), 10 years of nothing but liquid stools with bits of undigested vegetables, extreme exhaustion, frequently out of breath, frequent periods of my head feeling weird, lots of pain, and many more physical symptoms. I had also been struggling with mental health issues for decades, diagnosed bipolar II in 2002, and had near-constant depression and debilitating anxiety. I've been carnivore 2 1/2 years now and as long as I stay carnivore EVERY physical AND mental symptom stays gone. Carnivore is hands down the best thing I've never done for myself, and I can't help thinking of all of the people out there with similar issues to mine who might find relief eating this way. You have such a large following that I'm especially thrilled to see you do a video on it, and I hope that you occasionally do more.

I have a condition called lymphedema. My lymphedema is in my right leg from the knee down. Lymphedema is something one has for life. Going carnivore my lymphedema is 2/3 to 3/4 gone! I've had lymphedema since I was 10. I'm now 54. What carnivore has done for me is amazing. That my lymphedema is leaving my body is unreal. So I keep eating this way. Two weeks on carnivore is a good start, but I would suggest a longer trial to really begin to realize the benefits of this way of life. There is an entire laundry list of ailments (physical, mental, emotional) that have been alleviated/eliminated since going carnivore. I absolutely love this video and for one main reason. You said the most important thing…….there’s not a one size fits all. I do not feel great with red meat, unless I eat it every now and then when I get a craving for it. Like you, I love my salads and I put a lot of good stuff on my salads. I also love fruits and vegetables and feel amazing when I eat them. When I tried eating more red meat just because of the studies about the nutrition, I became constipated…..something I never deal with. So as you said, there are genetics and other factors involved. I think I’m going to stick to a Whole Foods diet with a variety of meat, chicken, fish, veggies, and fruit and fasting when my body tells me to. Thanks for all the work you do and share with your audience.

Beef, Lamb, Bison - ruminants - Eggs, Salmon, Sardines, Kerrigold Butter, Beef Tallow, Electrolytes and Real Salt. Getting ready for knee replacement surgery and hoping to be inflammation free by then. I do miss the salads and blueberries but that is what I'm doing now. I have been eating carnivore/ketovore for 1 1/2 years. Right away it worked wonders for my heartburn, acid reflux and related gastrointestinal issues. Also lost weight effortlessly. I haven’t checked any blood tests but I’m not big on going to doctors… usually only went once every 5 years for a blood workup. Prior to this, I ate a mostly vegetarian diet but added chicken and fish occasionally. Ate all the superfoods and green smoothies. Never lost weight unless I starved myself and had tons of gut issues. Also I don’t want diabetes like my sister and mom. So far, so good. Hoping to continue healing and feeling healthy , I’m in my mid 60’s.

I'm just another smiling happy carnivore (7 mos. +) eater. I will never go back to eating any veggies of any kind. Glad to see you give it a try Doc. 2 weeks is just the beginning of the benefits. Anyone not already on clean keto should take about 2 weeks to go full carnivore to let your gut get used to it. The first thing to do is get rid of processed food of any kind and all seed oils and work your way up to full carnivore. I was clean keto for years and went straight to full carnivore so I had no issues with the change. I don't have a gallbladder and had to get used to eating a lot of fat. A little constipation at first but just kept increasing the fat till everything came out fine. Also you didn't mention salt intake. I had to really up my salt intake to get my energy on track. You, Doc, have been keto for so long that you can see benefits right away but anyone not in that group should give it about 90 days to see what it can do for you. I for one am a committed carnivore forever. Oh, and by the way, did I mention i am almost 75? Feel the best of my life. Much more active and no more brain fog in the morning as wall as off 3 blood pressure meds. as well as cutting back on anti inflammatories as well as I am never hungry. No cravings. Dr. Berg was the very first channel I found in December 2021 when searching for information on the Keto diet. Dr. Berg explains things in a way that makes it easy for anyone to understand which helped me get going on my nutritional health journey. I then found a handful of other channels that are also wonderful and have been very beneficial as well. I did amazing on Keto for about 6 months then began slipping off the wagon. I am about to begin my second week of Carnivore and for me I find it much easier because of the stricter limitation on what I eat. I found on Keto it's easy to fall into the Keto snacks and other foods being marketed as Keto when they truly are not while I was trying to find replacements for my favorite foods. For me, on Carnivore those simply are not an option which I find helpful. The more I learn the more angry I become because so many people are suffering unnecessarily especially here in America. Thank you, Dr. Berg for the part you play in saving lives by helping people understand how their bodies operate.

I was on a vegan, plant based diet, then keto diet, and a few weeks ago I started to eat 80% carnivore and quit 90% sugar and carbs and I've improved the condition of my gut impressively. I used to have lots of anxiety and very painful BMs, and muscle issues, and that's gone. I've even been able to go for longer walks than b4. It's incredible. If I had known this was going to be so beneficial to me, I would have done it many years ago. Living a nightmare for about 16 years is something that nobody deserves. I don't know if this will help me continue feeling good in the long run but I do know it helps me feel amazing now, AND that's something I really missed!!! I cried today because I'm so happy now... I don't really care if I will not live a long life... (that's what some haters or egotistical, ignorant doctors have dared to say WITHOUT any evidence)... I simply believe that living a normal or shorter life but FULL OF ENERGY, HAPPINESS, PEACE & HEALTH, is even more important than living +90 yrs crippled, disabled or dealing with pain.

YES! I'm so happy you tried it. I shifted from Keto to carnivore after having severe acne in my 30s... after 3 weeks my skin was cleared. I'm now 7 months in an no longer in pre diabetic ranges and my thyroid is working more correctly. My hormone levels were leaning towards becoming hypo thyroid like my mom, grandma and twin sister. I may have broken that generational affliction with carnivore. I've lost 34lbs, I have about 30 more to lose, but I'm not even made it's taking longer than my husband who's close to his goal and down 61lbs. He had sleep apnea and no longer does. We're never craving junk like before and that was the biggest hurdle with every diet tried before. I enjoy being able to fast without pushing through hunger pains, because even on a calorie reduced version of carnivore, I'm always satisfied. It's been life changing to my mental health in general just by getting over the hump of detoxing all that sugar out of my body. I had no idea the depression I was in due to sugar until it was gone.

Hey Dr Berg, I’ve been fairly steady with the carnivore diet for a few months. I’ve been doing Keto for about a year. I fall off the wagon every once in a while and boy do I feel it! It’s very comparable to a hangover. Same symptoms. Being on carnivore has been a real breakthrough for me in many ways. It is rigorous and my cravings to cheat are almost continual. I’m about 75% steady and clean on it. Tending toward veggies and rice or beans and occasional sweet. Rare. Improvements have been less vertigo like symptoms I’ve had off and on for years. Less shaky hands. Improved mood and happiness. Oh and I’ve lost 40 lbs and it’s super easy for me to keep it off. I think my gut health is better. Quite regular and no feeling of bowel irritation. Way less inflammation. When I get up in morning if I’ve been steady beef for a week and not much else, I begin to feel like Superman and joints and muscles are good and most notable those first steps to bathroom and putting on my socks in the am. When I start feeling like this I consider I can deal with some carbs and the inflammations trigger within hours and definitely feel next morning. It’s been a journey and a beneficial one. I tell others about my success but don’t push them. Cheers and thanks for the great advice you’ve given me and others for years.

The carnivore diet saved me from my desperation of several disorders I was experiencing at 31 years old. From unexplained dizziness, Acid Reflux, Chronic Inflammation, NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease), Hypothyroidism, Hypertension and Arrythmias going from Bradycardia to Tachycardia. I was in a world of misery for a year and a half and it kept getting worse. I tried medications prescribed, which was a hit and miss because while some symptoms were getting better other new ones would appear due to the meds and at the end I would still feel sick. I also was level 1 obese even if it wasn't obvious with my features and height being 5'11 and 231lbs. I tried many kinds of diets and almost all made me feel worse except for Keto which briefly made me feel better but was hard to maintain. Then I reluctantly tried carnivore for a month. And I lost 8lbs on my first week and eventually lost a total of exactly 30lbs overall by the end of the month. During my diet kept peeing off excess water from my body especially on my first week and my acid reflux totally disappeared but I was also experiencing keto flu which I braved through, my blood pressure went from 150/90 to 110/70 on the 2nd week and the feeling of impending doom from my heart rate to extreme fatigue and dizziness went away. I stopped all meds after my doctor's visit for my arrythmia and hypothyroidism. I'm off the diet for almost 6 months now and have experienced no relapses from the disorders even after gaining 10lbs back. I intend to get back at it to lose more weight and regain the kind of energy I felt during the diet. I don't usually believe in miracle cures but this diet basically saved my life.

I discovered Dr. Berg and Keto 8 years ago after I stopped drinking. I studied everything I could, even mentored and coached people IRL. I went on and off, telling myself I was "Keto" but gradually hitting about 100 carbs a day. Other times I was fasting 16 hours, then eating high carb meals and donuts in my "window". I went mostly vegetarian and eating tons of NUTS all day, about 6 months ago. My health quickly degenerated. My poop was borderline yellow everyday and never normal. I couldn't breathe right. Had huge joint and muscle pain. Nightmares. Felt dizzy most of the day. And I was retaining water like crazy. I was a Keto "Expert".....and I devolved into what I feel was a life threatening stage and 15 pounds overweight. I started Carnivore about 2 weeks ago. I've lost 8 pounds so far. My skin has cleared up incredibly. My sleep is better. I have ZERO joint or muscle pain. I'm pooping regular again. All the excess water drained out from me. My focus is crazy now. Anxiety and dizziness seems to be leaving. No more waking up with swollen eyes. Sex drive is coming back. Stomach is looking "flat" again. And the best part is I feel I can breathe. Long story short......Keto was cool, but lacked something. It drove me to bad habits eventually. Then I couldn't even do Keto right. Then I went VEGETARIAN and eating nuts all day and I felt like I was legitimately DYING. Carnivore is saving me....imo

I’m glad you tried it!! I’ve been full carnivore for 6 months and it’s the healthiest I’ve ever been. Lost all my body fat but maintained muscle and strength, higher, more stable energy, libido like I’m 18 again, colds and flus barely slow me down, and it even cured a few autoimmune issues I struggled with such as frequent mouth ulcers and sperm granulomas from my vasectomy.

I have been a Carnie for 3. months, and now this is my lifestyle. I no longer have high BP, psoriasis and RA. Dairy is only once in a while. Fish is what I catch. I am really kind of Lion with eggs. I don't count carbs or calories and I'm down over 50lbs. This food is nutrient dense and I only go #2 every other day. Starting out was brutal for the first 5 or 6 weeks because I was pre-diabetic and insulin resistant. Ketosis stopped after 8 weeks and now that I am fat adapted, I feel the best I ever have. Male 40

Been carnivore/ketovore for a year and love it! I no longer have inflammation in my joints, no more bile acid malabsorption or IBS, I have increased mental clarity, better mood, and my teeth are whiter! LOL Lost 25 pounds and it's easy to keep it off. Hubby is also strict carnivore and it's helping him heal from polymyalgia rheumatica. He lost 45 pounds and is at his ideal weight, too. As a side note, I LOVE that meal prep and grocery shopping are so easy... I feel like I have more time in my day to relax or exercise.

I went keto about 4 years ago because of you. Well because of my type 2 diabetes then I found you. I had lost 80 pounds and then stalled out. My diabetes was calmed down but numbers still a little high as in borderline. I switched to Carnivore, lost another 30 pounds, and reversed my Type 2. I tried to go back to keto and the bloat was horrid, my body does NOT like veg at all. My mouth does and I miss vegetables, but it isn't worth it to me. I put back on that last 30 pounds when I went back to keto and got depressed so went back to eating tons of bagels and bread. I had suicidal ideations and was seeing a therapist in order to try and curb it all. I have a lower back injury that has kept me in too much pain. was getting some help from a Chiro then of course my insurance said I wasn't improving so they kicked me off chiro and told me to go get on pain management. This last winter was hell. I started back to my carnivore ways about 3 weeks ago, I have lost 10 pounds my bloat is all gone, I have energy and my back pain level is about a 6 when I have been living at a 9 - 10. I am sold, I won't ever go off carnivore again, it is truly going to keep me healthy for my grand kids. I am 56 and plan on living to 100!

I've been on carnivore for one month. So far the effects of tinnitus are almost gone and anxiety my hearing has so much better it brings years to my eyes. Also the neuropathy in my feet has almost disappeared! My weight has dropped 9 pounds and I'd like to see it go down another 15 to 20 pounds. I'm praising God for the carnivore diet.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the carnivore diet, Dr. Berg. I remembered a retired pro boxer from some 15 years ago who told me his best methods for quick recovery involved eating meat especially beef and good sleep.

I got hit by a drunk driver going 100mph on May 7th, 2019. The following 2 years were hell. I walked away from the wreck, but my upper back and neck muscles were destroyed. The following 2 years were terrible. I could barely do anything throughout the day, I was in so much pain. Lots of time spent laying on my recliner. I gained over 50 lbs. I started getting severe insulin resistance and crashing from my blood sugar. I started Keto and lost the excess weight, but I still had a lot of pain and inflammation in my back and neck. I was doing much better than previously, but I felt like I had a backpack on with 50lbs of extra weight in it all the time, after about 2 years of keto, I started carnivore diet. Within 3 days that inflammation disappeared. I lost another 7lbs within a week and noticed I was getting cravings for sweets or carbs anymore like I was constantly getting on Keto. This is the easiest diet I have ever been on and feel better than I have in a very, very long time. I actually crave steak more now, even though I eat one almost every day. I thank God I started doing carnivore. It has improved my life in so many ways, and I can exercise much more consistently without being in agonizing pain all the time.

Thank you so much for being so honest. The carnivore diet saved my life I was in renal failure. The doctor said if I my kidney function dropped two more points I had to go on dialysis my blood pressure was bottom and out. I had such severe Sjogren’s syndrome, my organs were failing. I have had irritable bowel syndrome, all my life which it cured I will never go back to eating plants or sugar. My case was so severe I have to stick strictly to carnivore mostly beef and eggs. I have Rh negative blood, which makes me prone to reaction to anything. Foreign are a natural in my body. That’s why I did not get the vaccine and thank God I didn’t. I had Covid two days and some fatigue after word. But my body overreacts to viruses and usually knocks him out before their problems. I follow your channel and enjoy your videos, but I’m very proud of you for trying the carnivore diet. I feel 30 years younger and it’s the first time in my life I did not suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. Keep up the good work.

Wow. I also have Sjogren's and struggle with issues due to it. I was diagnosed with MALT lymphoma 7 years ago due to it and thought that was the worst it could get. I'm so sorry to hear how much you struggled. Thank you for sharing. I've been just starting to hear about carnivore, and now think I'm going to really consider it.

My story-I went mostly carnivore. I drink only water. Very little sugar. Coffee Black. I eat fish, beef, eggs, and chicken, and I eat (1) small vegetable portion daily. I have a couple protein shakes daily. I had bloodwork 3 weeks ago. I never had issues with blood work prior other than near limits on Trigs and Cholestrol. I intentionally ate eggs and had a protein shake 1 hr before the blood draw. All my numbers were under the “limits.” I started doing this last Oct 1, and I’ve lost 25 lbs. I haven jogged much at all in 6 months due to a bulging disc in my back. I actually weigh a couple lbs less now than when I graduated HS 34 years ago. (1) Perfect bowel movement every morning. No gas or bloating at all anymore. I feel great. I used to eat a bunch of vegetables daily, and I could not stay out of the restroom.

I agree with this. I also went "mostly carnivore". I'm eating mostly animal products, however I trust Dr. Berg's recommendations, so I am still adding in some veggies he recommends. Though, most of my diet is animal products. I made carnivore noodles for the first time yesterday and they were actually really good, but I did notice I became tired after, which is interesting. No protein shakes and I actually stopped drinking tea in the morning, because I already have an abundance of energy when I wake up now. I do still enjoy a daily kombucha midday during work at the office, though. Overall, I'm like this version of the diet more than when I was going full carnivore.

I need some cruciferous veggies a few days per week otherwise I get painfully constipated. Most of us need to adapt our eating to what works optimally for us. I’m 70 and all of the increased protein makes me feel great!

@@MarkHolmes I made them with 4 whole organic pasture raised eggs, a good pinch of Dr. Berg's Baja sea salt, and some grass-fed beef gelatin I found on Amazon. I mixed the solution with an emersion blender to avoid lumps, then poured a third of it into a crepe pan. I turned the heat up to just before medium on my electric stove and that seemed to accomplish the goal in the most effective manner. As soon as the sides start to curl up, you can flip. Roll all of the crepes up and then finely cut them for carnivore noodles!

I was on Carnivore diet from 31 Aug 23 to 24 nov 23 and I lost about 9.6 kg but I developed rashes on my arm, thighs and backside. It was so itchy. My heart palpitated and beat loudly that I can hear. My ear pounding and my saliva sometimes taste sweet, sometimes taste salty or sometimes taste metallic. I have about 5 to 7 times leg cramps every night. Plus my hair dropped a lot. In addition, constipation all the time. The good thing is ha1c dropped from 9.4 to 6.5. So I stop the carnivore diet and switched to keto diet. And I bought Dr Berg Vitamin B1, bile salt, hair formula, shampoo, D and k2, electrolytes and magnesium glycernate. Than slowly my legs cram gone, heart no longer palpitate and ear no longer pounding. Funny Silva tastes also gone and the 😊rashes slowly healed. I also did 16:8 fasting from 30 Aug 23 and 23:1 fasting from oct to Nov 23. Thanks to Dr Berg staff who advised me to take B1 and he reckon it’s keto rashes

I started carnivore diet about three weeks ago and overall I feel my energy levels, focus, and mood are very stable.Besides that I am not hungry or feel like snacking. My reason to try this "diet" was to see if I could get the health benefits I was hearing about. I was never overweight, but over the past years I did lose some toning and yes, I am vain enough to hope to get that toning back. I have been creating a diary that I want to combine into one short video where I discuss the things that happened to me.

It's healthy to maintain your muscle tone and it feels fantastic. I rarely wear makeup, don't color my hair to hide the silver, and I dress modestly and for my own comfort. I don't think I'm vain, but it definitely feels good to catch a glimpse of my 67 year old self in the mirror coming out of the shower and marvel that my "old" body looks as good as it did at 30. Even better is that old bod FEELS better than it did back then when almost no attention was paid to what I put into it. Please don't denigrate your powerful motivator of wanting to look healthy and fit -- use it to keep yourself committed to your worthy goals.

Love it, that's a testimony! You sound like me except I don't have the body you have even at 47. Here's hoping though because we all age, but a healthy, slim body is key to aging beautifully. Of course that reflects in the skin and the radiance a person exudes. You enjoy your 30yo body and vitality lass 😊

I ate only grass fed beef for few months. And organic eggs. My period became normal. My period for all my life was a mess. Came every 2-3 months. After the carnivore diet, my period came on exact dates every month. So accurate that it scared me. 😂 the new normal felt not normal to me. I am not used to have period every month. Definitely for everyone to try for themselves. Experiment and see which works the best. Thank you, Dr.! Love your sharing.
