Honestly, low manipulation is key... I just braid and wig it and only use shea butter and water. My natural hair with its coils is past shoulder length in 2 years and I'm now starting to wear it out more

When braided how do you apply the shea butter and water? I’m thinkin u use a spray bottle with water then you apply shea butter on the ends only?

I am european, and have pretty thin and dry hair, but recently I found a lovely youtuber who formulates amazing haircare and shares her recipes. Through her I learned about some of the amazing natural haircare ingreedients like sheabutter and chebe! Now I use unrefined sheabutter for everything! Hair creams and pure on dry ends and on the skin. It is also an amazing aftercare after getting a tatoo. Then I heard about Chebe and it really looks like my hair starts to be healthier and longer! It doesnt frizz that easily anymore. I use the powder with a selfmade hair cream once a week and leave it in for a few hours. And I added it to a selfmade Leave-in conditioner so I can have the benefits as needed. Knowing how to take care of my hair with natural ingredients is something nobody has ever taught me, and I am so greatfull to have learned this skill by so many lovely ladies of colour here on youtube ❤

Everyone is absolutely beautiful. I used to use Ambunu, it is one of my favorites, but I can’t seem to get the consistency good enough where the mucous consistency is still there AFTER I strain it through a stocking. After I strain it it’s more like watered down tea, and it really doesn’t do anything for all the hair in my family. If you have a suggestion I’d greatly appreciate it. I will let it sit longer. On the instructions it says to let it sit for 10 minutes, but I’ll do it for an hour. Maybe that’s my problem. I do LOVE and use Chebe powder. That’s my favorite too. Love your video. Thank you so much for sharing.

Boom soap and Vaseline? 🤔 I definitely would not recommend anyone use either of those products in their hair if they want to maintain healthy, long hair and a healthy scalp with a balanced pH. It looks to me like that woman may have locks and not loose natural hair. That makes a big difference if we're talking about growing loose natural hair long . I would love to see what her hair looks like when it's loose. Now I know for sure that those Chadian women grow their hair extremely long and thick with the use of Chebe powder along with other oils and herbs. They have absolutely gorgeous hair

I wouldn't use that chemicals. She's the acception I know a man that used dial liquid hand soap 🧼 as a shampoo and body wash. His hair was SOOOOO dry , brittle and breaking off. His skin was worse. So if she really is using that than more power to her. However I don't believe it.
