"It took courage and skill" makes me think of same mindset as rhe Minoan bull jumper frescoes or mosaics.

What's far more important is that all of the artifacts shown in this artwork connected to the Griffen warrior himself were found in his grave.

I never noticed the Minoan swordsman is grabbing the helmet decor of the Greek spearman to control his head and move it out of the path of his sword. Such detail

Fantastic. Something VERY needed. I urge you to MAKE MORE, focusing each segment on a different Minoan artifact. Create a collection of the marvelous daily life dishware and decor and items that made them so special. With plenty of photographic study on each.

Thank you. Now I am focused on releasing the next issue of the magazine. However, I have plans for the development of the channel.

@@historiamaxmag the same skill and courage as those young men depicted jumping over Bulls in Minoan art!!!

@@aminrodriguez4707 You are absolutely right. With these images and works of art, the Minoans glorified the strength, courage and professionalism of warriors and athletes. I see in these artifacts a vibrant love of life and thrills. The Minoans are very different in this from the Egyptians or the people from Mesopotamia.

Anyone notice the way the crest of the helmet seems reversed to what would be expected/seen? On high crested helmets, the "hair" would be lining the back side of the crest, when facing front. Here with the head turned, the hair is facing front of the helmet. Odd--I've never seen a helmet with such an arrangement.

In fact, the seal was first used to confirm the authority of an individual even earlier than this seal. For 8000 years, printing has been used for documents and patterns on pottery and possibly fabric.

Long haired Achaean’s as per Iliad whereas the Minoans shaved their heads?
@historiamaxmag3 күн бұрын
There is no evidence that the ancient Minoans shaved their heads bald.

It reminds me of the endless vids of Palestinian Resistance actually walking up to tanks and placing charges by hand and filming everything…just like this Minoan hero jumping naked on armoured phalanxes

From wiki: The Pylos Combat Agate is a Minoan sealstone of the Mycenaean era, likely manufactured in Late Minoan Crete. Due to a longstanding consensus that Mycenaean civilizations imported or stole riches from Minoan Crete, it is believed that the seal was created in Crete.The fact that the stone was found in a Mycenaean tomb in mainland Greece is suggestive of cultural exchange between the Minoan and Mycenaean civilizations. And we know the Minoans had heavy influence from the Egyptians, so...
