I have several playlists on my channel that might help in putting the videos in order and by topic. This might help.

But, why such emphasis on swaddling clothes? Micah 4:8 is a rather obscure verse. It reads: "As for you, watchtower of the flock, stronghold of Daughter Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to Daughter Jerusalem." This is a prophetic verse referring to the watchtower where the priestly shepherds would watch over their flocks in the shepherd's fields there at Bethlehem. Priestly shepherds were those who raised lambs for the sacrifice by the priests in the temple in Jerusalem. It was in the lower portion of this watchtower that the birthing of the future sacrificial lambs would take place. The shepherds would wrap the newborn lambs in swaddling clothes to protect the body of the lambs, which would be offered as sacrifice at the Temple just four miles away in Jerusalem. After the lamb was born it was wrapped in swaddling clothes to keep it protected without spot or blemish (as the scripture required a perfect lamb), and then this lamb would be laid in a manger until it had calmed down.

It’s a beautiful, important idea… And, of course, I love the symmetry between the sacrificial lambs and baby Jesus. But I have not been able to find any proof that these baby lambs were wrapped in cloth. Where exactly how it might work. I mean with their bodies, wrapped their limbs raft, and how long will they even wrapped for. And don’t they have to suck all from their mothers… It’s a little bit confusing.

That was so deep and overwhelming interpretation of just one little word we hear repeatedly over and over many times since we were born until we ceased to ask for its exact meaning.. Now look how every single word become a miracle when used by God or mentioned in His book.. Hallelujah. Thank you for this great video

No offense but I still cannot figure out why swaddling clothes were a sign. Every child was. Trying to connect the clouds and cloth swaddling doesn't do it for me.
@messagesofChrist9 ай бұрын
Watch the other video I have on swaddling bands and I hopefully explain it better. I agree, the sign is less about the swaddling and more about the manger.

Mary does seem to be in her 20s ( then again I'm 20 something woman and I look like I'm 14). Didn't most of the girls in ancient Israel married around 15-17? (I believe that Mary was around 16).
@messagesofChrist7 жыл бұрын
The video does have an older Mary, but that is just the footage that I had permission to use. If I had a budget to actually film a younger Mary, trust me, I would. You are correct in your assumption, Mary was probably around 15 or so.
