Ancient Cities: Machu Picchu, Meroe and Nubia, Mohenjo-Daro (ASMR Bedtime Stories)

In this ASMR/bedtime stories video, I tell you about three "lost cities" and the civilisations that built them:
- Machu Picchu, built as a retreat for Inca emperors 50 miles from their capital Cusco and forgotten for 300 years by the rest of the world;
- Meroe, the capital of the Kingdom of Kush, and a brief history of Nubia and its relations with Egypt in the antiquity. Before Meroe was founded, Nubian kings from Kush founded the XXVth Egyptian Dynasty, and in the 1st millenium BC they covered Nubia with pyramids.
- Mohenjo-Daro, an enigmatic large city from the 3rd millenium BC, that was created by the Indus Valley Civilisation and declined with it.

Can you do a video on the theme of ooparts and the impossibility of modern civilization to move the stones and form such varied sizes to fit correctly in places like Sacsayhuamán, the Great Pyramid, etc, even if it isn’t “mainstream academia”?

This was perfect timing for an ASMR to warm me up with some historical knowledge, while outside its a bit cold outside. I've yet to see Macchu Picchu but I would love to visit one day. I've always had a fascinating with Mohenjo Daro. There is something just inherently fascinating about "lost civilization" that really makes us face our own mortality. These places that were once the center of life and culture are now just ruins in the sand. Fantastic and amazing work as always French Whisperer. Thank you for this relaxation!

Anyways I do have one it’s a very interesting historical topic I think a lot of people would like… Could you do one on the “Sea Peoples” and the related “Bronze Age collapse” around this time period 1200-1000 BCE.. I know you must be a aware of them at least w/ your knowledge.. It is kind of a long topic to get into but it’s so fascinating cuz we don’t know exactly who they all were etc etc and all the effects of the Bronze Age Collapse.. Could do one on the Sea Peoples and one of the collapse or combine them depending on what you wanna do… As a historian and writer I’d be glad to help if desired.
