I went to Snow College in Ephraim, which is about 7 minutes from Manti. I went and searched for Brewer's Cave for probably about 10 hours. I found some interesting things and even felt like I got close, but haven't been back since. Here are some clues: - Entrance is near a rock overhang (I think I actually found this) - You can see the temple from the entrance - Entrance is on private land

This was so interesting thank you for this. I just finished the book of Enoch, which explains about the giants. I also read the book by the same name by Michael B. Rush. Very interesting. My fourth great grandfather Isaac Morley was the second person to lead a group of Saints to Utah after Brigham Young. When he got to Salt Lake he met Chief Walker who was a spiritual Native American man who had a vision in which he saw the Saints arriving in the area and specifically Isaac Morley. As a result Chief Walker and Isaac or father Morley as he was called became friends. Father Morley was the leader of the group who first came to Manti in 1849. He said it was a sacred place and that it was where they would build a settlement even if only ten men remained to help him. He later baptized Chief Walker and took part in their sweat lodge which is another story altogether of what occurred that day. At one point Chief Walker kidnapped Isaac Morley’s two year old as a result of a disagreement in which Isaac disapproved of how the Chiefs Mother was treated by the tribe when she became to old to do much. Chief Walker returned the toddler two weeks later and because Isaac did not try to intervene or go after them to get his son back (which would have caused a war between the LDS settlers and the Native Americans) Chief Walker said they could be friends again and that Isaac passed the test. When Isaac asked Chief Walker about the caves and caverns in the area he was told “Don’t go in there, you won’t come out alive” basically. Then in the spring the snakes stared crawling out of the caves and so the settlers thought that this is what the Chief meant. Another thing I thought about watching this was that you mentioned the Madsen family. My husband’s Mother is a Madsen, her father a WWII veteran is 100 years old. He was in the 100th airborne division and now lives in Provo. It is so cool your family connections to this story about the Brewer cave and my families connections to your video!

Haven’t watched the video yet so idk if this is mentioned, but The brewer cave bark on the stone box that the plates was dated to between 150 BC and AD so I believe that’s real, there’s a lot of artifacts in America that don’t fit the narrative and are discarded, if they admit the native Americans were advanced they’d have to honor the land treaties and give them the money they promised
@koltoncrane30995 ай бұрын
I don’t think it’s about the government acknowledging if tribes are advanced or not. Regardless if native Americans were advanced or not shouldn’t have any bearing or influence on the government keeping or breaking treaties. It’s more about the government keeping the narrative they want taught.
@koltoncrane30995 ай бұрын
Also some have pointed out that carbon dating relies on the assumption that carbon levels in the atmosphere remains the same or something. Idk but a few people I’ve listened say they’ve spent a lot of time reading about it and find it suspect. I’ve not spent any time looking into it so I’m not sure. But I do know the U.S. seemed to not find wmd. They also lied about moving weapons upon a passenger ship which Germany sunk in ww1 killing hundreds of Americans which a British sub Watched. It rallied America to go to war. The government lies about all sorts of things. It’ll be great to die and just read history books or maybe travel through time And watch the lies and compare it to what actually happened to learn how I was deceived.

There's a similar cave in Nevada where natives had traditions that red haired cannibal giants lived and that they killed them off in a war. Although in the Nevada cave they didn't really have a lot of artifacts... or the artifacts were gone already. Its very common to find a lot of artifacts and evidence of historical societies in the midwest and east coast. ... Although I have to confess that while I'd heard of the rumors about a cave that was found in Manti, nobody ever came forward and said there was actual evidence and actual artifacts found in it.

Great job of relating this history of this great area. I had the awesome opportunity to attend Snow College in the school year of 1980-81. While there I learned to love the Sanpete County, especially Ephraim and Manti. You said you're related to the Frischknecht family, hailing from that area. I went to Snow College with a Fred Frischknecht, whom I learned had passed away in 2019. He was a good friend, while at Snow, but I had lost contact with him. You made reference to the Manti and Ephraim Temple being so close. Well what we found out, during our tour of the Manti Open House, that one of the reasons for the new temple is that the Manti Temple was restored to as close to original design as possible, which means it's not ADA certified. Given the new Ephraim Temple is within 10 miles, and is ADA certified, therefore the ADA rules are satisfied. One question I have is why isn't a person, like Wayne May, given knowledge of this cave given its prominence to the Jaredites and Nephites ( Adena and Hopewell peoples)? He's an archaeologist who's done much work to tie the these cultures to the Book of Mormon.

It appeared to ne an old school building turned into a rest home. My grandmother was a Christensen. She showed me where she stayed summers with her grandmother in Mayfield and her other grandparents. She told me how she hid under the bed when Indians came around to gather food that the saints shared with them. She was terrified of them as a child. Her grandparents were Christisnsens and Michealson who helped build the Manti temple.

Here's my outline copied and pasted. ❤️ Giants • Existed before the flood o Sought to kill Noah • Existed after the flood • Large, tall, people with great strength • Result of the sons of God having children with the daughters of men • They became the mighty men which were of old, men of renown (great warriors and athletes). Raphah of Gath • Means “Sunken” and “powerless ones” in Hebrew • Means “to repair, heal, or make whole” in Greek • Father of several giants • Father of “Goliath the Gittite” • Father of a son with 12 finger and 12 toes o Killed by Jonathan the son of Shimea, the brother of David • Father of Ishbi-benob o Means “he who is from Nob” (ancient town in Jerusalem) o Killed by Abishai the son of Zeruiah • Father of Saph • Means “threshold”, “a type of Goblin”, and “gigantic” o Killed by Sibbechai the Hushathite • “Brother of Goliath” o Killed by Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Beth-lehemite Gath (Palestine) • Means “spear” in old Irish • Means “wine press” in Hebrew Philistines • Means “invader” in Hebrew • Five Philistine cities: Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, and Gath. • The Philistines originated as an immigrant group from the Aegean that settled in Canaan circa 1175 BC during the Late Bronze Age collapse. • This "uncircumcised" group is described in several passages as coming from the "Land of Caphtor" (modern-day Crete) before taking control of the coastal region of what is now southern Israel and the Gaza Strip. They warred with their Israelite neighbors, even seizing the Ark of the Covenant for a time. Their representatives in the Bible include the giant Goliath, who was felled by the future king David, and Delilah, who robbed the Israelite Samson of his strength by cutting his hair. • Many researchers also tie the presence of the Philistines to the exploits of the Sea Peoples, a mysterious confederation of tribes that, according to Egyptian and other historical sources, appears to have wreaked havoc across the eastern Mediterranean at the end of the Late Bronze Age in the 13th century and early 12th century B.C. • DNA origins point to Greece, Crete, Sardinia, and the Iberian peninsula. • Began as migrants from the west • DNA marker disappears very quickly within 200 years, probably because [the Philistines] intermarried and this kind of genetic signature was diluted within the local population. Anakims • Means “neck chain”, “long necked”, “tall” in Hebrew • Means “Rulers” in Greek • Sons of Anak made the children of Israel feel like grasshoppers. • A Cushite tribe from Babel, and of the same race as the Phoenicians living in Canaan at the time of the arrival of Moses and the Israelites. A remnant of the original inhabitants of Palestine before the Canaanites. Thought by the Hebrews to be descendants of the Nephilim. Emims • Name given by the Moabites • Means "the dreaded ones" in Hebrew • Lived in Ar which was a land that God gave to the children of Lot • A warlike tribe of giants who were defeated by Chedorlaomer and his allies in the plain of Kiriathaim. Zamzummims • Name given by the Ammonites • Means "to talk gibberish" or "great masters in war" and “A people that speak in buzzing, mumbling, or rumbling noises” Og king of Bashan • Remained of the remnant of giants • Lived in Rabbath • His coffin was made of iron and 14 feet long • King of the underworld • Also a Phoenician deity and the protector of tombs • Og mean “to bake round breads on hot stones” • Root word for “ogre” Bashan (Land of the Giants) • This land was given to Manasseh • Bashan means “serpent” or “dragon” Valley of Hinnom • Bordered the land of the giants • A deep, narrow ravine separating Mount Zion from the so-called "Hill of Evil Counsel." • Means “sorrow; groaning, i.e., of the afflicted; wailing; lamentation; purifying fires”. "a place to spit upon,"

After watching this I started wondering if the people of Limhi found the Jaredite plates there in Manti? It’s neat that Moroni once stood there probably with the gold plates but this debunks the claims that Lehi landed around Florida. I think Lehi landed in South America & makes more sense why Moroni would be there before traveling to the Hill Cumora. I’ve always been fascinated by Ancient American History & this is the best Documentary I’ve seen about Brewers Cave. Thank you & the Lord for making this. ❤️ What’s sad is History is being hidden from us & being erased. I’ve heard towns finding ancient cities or artifacts that they cover back up so the goverment won’t find out. Even if there’s more plates to be found people will always try to stop the truth from coming out.😢

Wally and Bonnie were married in the SLC Utah temple, August 21st 1969. It’s my believe that much of Wally’s traditions align with Christian teachings (Spanish missionaries made contact with native tribes teaching them of Christ, salvation… Wally it seems, has been strongly influenced by the teachings of the LDS faith which originated from Joseph Smiths gathering and combining many different religious beliefs and practices of his day early 1800 USA.

That could have been from end of book of Mormon times when the Nephites practiced cannibalism. They had never met these people before. There is no way they could have known if they were cannibals or not. But they quickly slaughtered these redheaded Giants. Chief Winnemucca granddaughter wound up with the skirt made of the red hair. The state of Nevada boxed up any remains and artifacts, and took it to their museum. but to my knowledge, they never put it on display.

I struggled with it also, I wondered if there was anyway I could turn background music down. Like an app feature I'm not aware of. Content was a lot of fun to watch so it didn't keep me from finishing the whole video.

Hey Lindsey 👋 👋 👋 👋 In your research have yu found put if any of the vikings were alive during the bible time's... or how they connect to someone in the bible
@TheHappyLadyChannel5 ай бұрын
Vikings came much later, after the Nephites were gone. Phoenicians and Scythians were a similar type of people during the time of the Jaredites. Phoenicians traded and traveled here. But Vikings did come to America for sure.

So happy to see you ask this question because my most valued is a personal history written by a G-great aunt in Utah. These writings go from Utah to my ancestor Ragnar Ragnarson -written in early the early 1900s. From there the proven connections to King James were pretty clear with research.

Horus is the name of the Sun on the horizon. The Egyptians and other ancient people had different names for the Sun, depending on the suns position in the sky. The seven sages are the seven visible planets.
