@@ernazcrazed Considering the fact that turkey's population basically has a disproportionately large amount of greek dna especially in regions closer to the sea where greeks had lived since ancient times not surprising that the population there reveals some hellenic characteristics as well as armenian and persian influences. What is funny is that mongolian (turk) dna is nowhere to be found in current populations that reside in turkey. It is peculiar watching them hating their kin though and ironic.

Modern Greeks are directly related to Ancient Greeks, DNA studies found out. There is absolutely no doubt from a scientific point of view. Yes, of course within 4.000 years of cultural history, other "foreign" DNA haplogroups mixed in (Slavs, Germanics, Ottoman/Middle Easterners, Roman/Venetian/Italian), but the majority stayed the same.

You are a special talent such as these legends. You are a gifted artist as these sculptors were, plus the ability to understand the importance of these various individuals. The greatness and importance of these Greek individuals cannot be overstated, without them, you cannot have the Empire of Alexander, you cannot have the Roman Empire, nor, the Medieval powers of Charlemagne's Empire, Byzantine/Eastern Roman Empire, nor the Islamic realms combined power and advancement of tech and concepts, they too drew from the Ancient Greeks genius. Nor the European emergence and domination of the world in the past 500 years. No USA, no NATO nor Russia in that post WW2 rivalry. Neither side exists without the achievements of these men. Very well done.

@@dawarrior95 Oops, you forget the number of inventions created in the USA alone in the past 200 years. Also, without the Romans, you don't have the same thing with them. Thriving natives of Western Europe were less advanced tech and Architecture wise. Like it or not, Alexander's Empire make possible the strong connection of Europe with India to the benefit of both, the Roman Empire developed Western Europe, no London, Paris, or Vienna, without them, they connected Western Europe to China via the Silk Roads, and the fact that all of Western Europe was part of the Empire. In this Western Civilization year of 2021 equivalent, without this development, we wouldn't be communicating via computer connected by satellites. You forget the Russian Empire was created by Norsemen who were Byzantine Empire admirers, they adopted the Eastern Empire's culture and religion. The Roman Empire looms large in our modern world period due to the Europeans immense power in the world from the time of the Carolingian Renaissance/Charlemagne's time onward, especially the past 500 years. To a someone of a historian's, sociologist's, and anthropologist's reckoning, the modern world is very Greco-Roman in nature, even places like China, which had men of equal greatness such as Confucius, Lao Tzu, and military genius Sun Tzu, in the end their modern government is derived from a European model, not the native "Emperor" model.

Panagiotis, it is our honor to watch your work. Truly, you give life back to them; if only for a brief glimpse of time. The realm they lived in, 2,000 plus years ago seems so long ago. But for recreations like this, these people; some that are Titans of Antiquity... they could be amongst us right now, just like you and me. Or anyone of us could transport back in time; and walk amongst them... the basics of love, life and living would still be the same. Recreations like this draw back the veil of time. And for those that appreciate the above sentiment, we can't thank you enough.

Μany friends, neighbours, or relatives of mine look like them here in Athens and elsewhere in Greece, which is amazing! It is like I know these people, I've seen them somewhere! The only note to the creator is don't trim their beards and don't cut their hair cause unlike the Romans, Ancient Greeks rarely cut or trim their hair since it was considered a disgrace to do so, mostly they only attended their beard with fishbone made combs, so leave the hair as appear on the busts and statutes and don't try to barber them just to look modern.

@@mutedgameplay1697 Don't flatter yourself, stoning was for serious matters and was not employed by the ancient Greeks. If you were within hearing of Socrates you might be mocked for your silliness, but in all probability you'd just be ignored for such a vacuous comment.
