I apologize for not being able to get to you question as quickly as I'd like. I just returned from Brazil where I have been working for the past month. If you are looking for original writings of these words in Paleo-Hebrew you will not find them easy to find. Unfortunately the paleo-Hebrew versions of the Bible that would have these words are not available in books or online to my knowledge and only viewable at the museum in Israel with special permission.

Yes, there are quite a few Ancient Hebrew inscriptions in America including the Los Lunas inscription, Bat Creek Inscription and others.

Up until only a few years ago no one was able to view any of the Dead Sea Scroll's or digital images of them. The only ones with access to them were selected specialists. Today it is a little better. Some of the scrolls have been digitized and are available in a couple of books and some of them online. Unless an individual is a specialist in the Dead Sea Scrolls and working for a University you will never be able to see the scrolls themselves.

@Axxeeellll1 I do agree with you that the pronunciation of the vowel pointings is the pronunciation of their time, but we really can't say that this is "not" the same pronunciation of Moses' time. It may or may not be, there is just no way to know for sure. Because Hebrew, just like all other languages, pronunciations change over time, I suspect that Moses' pronunciation is very different from the Masorites.

@HadasahB There is no dalet or aleph in that inscription. The letters are mem-tav-lamed-beyt-ayin-lamed-tav and up in the upper right are the letters pey-tav.

If I said that it was the "Saudi Arabian Penninsula" then I was wrong, you are correct, but I don't think I said it was Suadi Arabian. You are also correct that these inscriptions are Semitic, the precurser to Hebrew. I just did not clarify this here but I will be in my next video, part 14 of the series "A History of Hebrew."

@YAHWEHisperfect The Hebrew translations are only a hundred years old or so. I prefer the Salkinson-Ginsburg translation myself and I have it available as html or pdf on my website. The Aramaic Peshitta is available in book form, but also as html on some websites, just search "Aramaic Peshitta." I am not sure how they dated Peshitta, but this date is accepted by all scholars.

@SexyPomper The writing on this inscription is written in the Semitic alphabet, which all Semites and some non-Semites used. Most likely the inscription was written by a Semitic person that was not a Hebrew.

The predominant theory of the DSS is that they were written by Essenes at Qumran. I personally do not agree with this theory nor do some other scholars. As for translating Hebrew into English, I use what I call the "Mechanical Translation" method. Search "Mechanical Translation of the Hebrew Bible" for more details.

@YAHWEHisperfect Another dictionary besides Strong's is Thayer's and many people call this "Strong's" because it uses the Strong's numberin system. I don't think I have seen an ebook for Strong's before, but I am sure there is one out there somewhere.

@MegaAtheistman You have made some serious assumptions on your part. You assume I believe in "creation," and you assume you know what "god" I believe in.

But Jeff, Sumerian's told to be the oldest. I hope you find something to sustain your theory, it'd be awesome if Hebrew'd be the first language ever.

-Yeah, you did say Saudi Arabian pninsula. I know you didn't mean it... The 'Beith' doesn't show the 'tent flap that divides the men from the women' in the Ba'alath inscription. But that it should say 'death (to) Ba'alath' is very interesting.

thankyou for your response,i presumed you thought my question was stupid. why is it only visible with special permission ? is there someone at the museum i can write too ? or is there another specialist besides yourself i can ask ?
@sapiensape This is interesting stuff, eh? Do you mean from which Hebrew language or writing is evolved? I guess ya probably mean writing. It would be an error to assume a language is only as old as the oldest (discovered) written evidence of it. -Know what I mean?

Yes, my web site (link is on my youtube channel home page) has many articles on the meanings of Hebrew words. Check the FAQs for articles on the name YHWH and I have a video titled "this is my name" that goes into that.

@ancienthebreworg don't let them bait you in brother. They are willfully ignorant. It requires more faith that we've evolved from nothing. We'll all believe in God eventually. :) Great work!

Strange, but the example you cited at 1:40, did you know that it is referring to Hathor, death to Baalat that is the Serpent Lady...? You know, if Moses was here alive with us he wouldnt be pleased with those people who wrote such contemptuous message just next to their gold mine quarry. And if I were you I would think twice before using such scripture as an example to teach the ancient Hebrew language...and you know what I mean?

I notice that often times when it comes to actual truth. The devil loves to surround it with harassment and such persecution with deceitful rationalizations. So fleshly so carnal.. Jeff Benner. This is true hebrew. Be joyful because you found what the devil apparently hates you for.

the Vatican and Rockefellers were lead custodians... and Christians did not even _see_ a "Hebrew" manuscript in common circulation until the 11th century AD.

Serabit el Khadim is _not_ in the "Saudi Arabian Peninsula," its in the _Sinai_ Peninsula. The earliest Hebrew script is according to PhD scholars no earlier than the 10th century BC. The earlier scripts presented in this video are _not_ called Hebrew by scholars they are "predecessors" from which Hebrew later evolved. Some are called Proto-sinaitic script after the Serabit el Khadim inscriptions dated to the 12th dynasty of Egypt.

In 1855 the New Mexico Indians took TRUE ISRAELITES (the actual descendants of Jacob) up to Hidden Mountain and showed them the Decalogue Stone AND the Zodiac Stone (which was an actual copy of the start constellations in the form of the Hebrew Zodiac that was chiselled into the stone and showed EXACTLY when the Israelite Explorers had built a fort in that location...137 BC). Everyone needs to become aware that there were 12 Tribes of Israel....12 sons of Jacob....not just one. Modern Jewry would have everyone believe that they are the ONLY people of the Covenant and they claim to be the descendants of ONE TRIBE - JUDAH - which none of MODERN JEWS are the descendants of Judah at all. In fact....everyone has been scammed to an extreme ! NONE OF THE TWELVE TRIBES are a part of MODERN JEWRY. THE JEWISH ENCYCLOPEDIA states very clearly that it is an ERROR to claim that Modern Jews are the descendants of the Hebrews. Only True Israelites are deeply interested in their history, the Torah (not the Jewish Talmud which states that it is okay to rape small children) AND only TRUE ISRAELITES love Yahshua Messiah and know that he is the son of Yahweh and that he is THEIR KINSMAN REDEEMER and the LAMB OF YAHWEH WHO CAME TO DELIVER HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. Everyone asks, "Well if the MODERN JEWS are NOT the people of YAHWEH'S COVENANT, then WHO ARE THEY?" Well, they are the Canaanites, the cursed Children of Esau, and there is tremendous documentation to this fact that has been covered up and intentionally surpressed by WHO ? By the people who stand to benefit the most....MODERN JEWRY. Aren't they the first ones to point to a scripture that states that anyone opposing them will be punished by Yahweh?
