The biggest chunk of knowledge I was able to derive from your work is the naming conventions used in Hebrew. When Adam selected the name Eve, it was letter by letter to convey the meaning of who she is as the "cradler wed to honor". Then their sons names letter by letter have rich meanings. I now understand how one letter added to the names Abram and Sarai brought great honor to their names. There is so much more to the naming convention than is ever taught. Names were formed letter by letter. Thanks for your work.

I checked out your free download of this book, and immediately bought a hard copy of the book. I asked my rabbi to recommend a book like this, and he turned me onto the Alacay dictionary set. It cost a lot and wasn't what I was looking for. This is exactly what I wanted! I was wondering how to work all the different options, thanks for the video and all of your help.

Ancient Paleo Hebrew is very new to me. I have been trying to find The Our Father in Ancient Hebrew and it's difficult for me to discern if I am hearing Ancient or new (Assyrian) Hebrew or real Ancient Hebrew. There are even some who believe Assyrian is Ancient Paleo which is even more confusing. I appreciate your channel and I only found it today. Lol Thank you for your time and effort!

Great is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) our Elohim(God) for in these days he has given knowledge of his word to his children. I'm very interested in owning one. I must say that gaining a greater knowledge of Hebrew and of the manuscript history of the Bible has provided great clarity to the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. His word does not contradict, his expectations are clear and he is the only true Elohim.

Shalom Jeff Benner. I love your Hebrew lexicon, I have a question about the consonant and vowel rules. What is the Gramma rule for words that begin with a vowel and what is the grammar rules for words the end in a vowel? Like the Messiah is Yahoshua or Yeshua, this doesn't follow the cvcvcv grammar rules of your lexicon. Are there exceptions to the rule? What about Ezra? Or like Ya'aqov? Elohim? Thank you so much for the work you have done. I'm really trying to understand the grammar rules. Thank you. I hope you see this!

I just purchased this book in its Kindle format. I watched this video to learn how to use the lexicon. When I went to use the Kindle version I found that it doesn't have the Strong's information that is critical to the use of the book. I was trying to use the lexicon on the word para, h6544, but don't know how to start since I'm not sure what the parent root is. Is there another video that will help me figure this out? The Kindle version just seems to jump right into the parent and child roots. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd use the letter E to illustrate ה, and the greek letter €ampi, or Ç (which is more recognizable) for צ. I reserve H for cHet.

I think it’s Strongs coded but not sure . I also am a little confused on how to start doing a word study with all of this

I'm collaborating a bit with Prof. Khan to figure out how ancient Hebrew recitation would have worked, rhythmically, by synthesizing his work on Tiberian Hebrew metrical structure, and my and others's work on te'amim prosody. You can check out my Psalm 131 to hear the latest on that.

I have read that the word "serpent", as used in an English Bible. means "enchanter", not "snake". IS there any truth to this?
@ancienthebreworg7 жыл бұрын
There is some truth to this. The Hebrew word for serpent is נחש (nahhash). This is a noun derived from the verb נחש (N.Hh.Sh) and means to "predict" (a.k.a. enchanter). It would be perfectly acceptable to translate נחש (nahhash) as "predictor" (or enchanter).

Ew bullinger has a companion bible that expounds on this topic. Also get a gesenius coded to strongs and Brown driver Briggs coded to strongs and thayers coded to strongs with a greens inter linear coded to strongs and ask God to remove man’s doctrine from your mind. The Hebrew/chaldee and Greek manuscripts in tandem tell a much different creation account. Goodluck and Godbless

Yes! So this is why Berisheet has so many words within it? I have a question. I was studying Numbers with the man Balaam. In that section of scripture, his name has "el" sometimes. If there are rules, why is that broken sometimes? I am wondering if Balaam thought himself to be a god and accepted the title from Balak. What is interesting is that Balaam got his foot crushed BUT also his "el". Is my assumption in the right direction?
