For me, these old flash games like these actually introduced me to franchises like Mega Man, Kirby, Zelda, and many more. God Flash games were the bomb back then.

I’m a bit embarrassed to say this, but flash games were how I was introduced to Mario platformers. I first played a Super Mario World flash game where all the text was messed up and the physics were really weird. I forgot the name of it, unfortunately, but I remember the second level was a lava level with orange-yellow platforms and a bunch of Lava Bubbles and Spinies, and the third level had a bunch of Thwomps.
