Never heard of Kashi before, or, seen his videos. This work will certainly contribute towards the revival of these traditions. However, a complete renaissance would ensue when the current flagbearers of these tradition reflect on, how to approach the human desire for gratification.

Look I appreciate the cross culturally exchange, but there is literally no such thing as Persian ‘Yoga’. Yoga is 100% purely INDIAN (there is no such thing as South Asian). They are a rich culture and I’m sure they have their own forms of martial arts and other deeply spiritual practices associated with their history. I love Iranians and their ancient history, but this ain’t it chief.

Calling it "Yoga" is basically cultural appropriation. Call it something else more resonant with Persian culture but don't call it Yoga which is an Indian Hindu heritage meme.

He probably chose it so that western folks could grasp it better. Regardless, he is keeping a tradition alive that would otherwise be forgotten in our modern exercise machine oriented culture. In contrast to those location dependent routines, these routines can be done nearly anywhere and anytime with just a small amount of creativity. Their superiority will endure so long as individuals practice it, regardless of its western name.
