You seem to be comparing Resurrection with Rebirth, they are not the same, resurrection, you keep your old body, you receive a new body with rebirth, she is wrong, comparing resurrection with the dying and rising gods, the weeping for Tammuz, is the lost of sap in the trees, each time, creating a new tree ring, the son of the goddess of Dogs, protecting all trees with their Bark Bark, goddess of dogs is Bau-Gula, the Urgula, meaning both Lion and Great Dog, the mother of Damu the Child, the Warrior coming up between the Mashu, the Sacred Twin Mountains. "Opener of the Ways", "Protector of the Belly", protected by the Goddess Neith, the Virgin Virgo, her name mean "The Terrifying One". In Sanskrit, 'vir' means “to subdue, to overpower, to tear open, to display heroism.” as Go means Cow. In Sanskrit, the word vira means "hero". It is related to the Latin word vir, which means "man", 'gin' is from Greek "gyne" meaning Woman, play the words "Her Mithras, Boy/Girl" in reverse to hear it echo "Virgo, September". Just because a scholar can read the words, doesn't mean the scholar knows what she's reading.

Inanna is the twin of the sun god Utu Shamash, in Sumerian, 'utu' means "to give birth", 'sha' means "Heart", and 'mash' means Twin, give birth to twin hearts, Inanna is Venus, the Morning Star and Evening Star, each are visible for 37 and half weeks, 37 - 40 weeks, a normal birth. Venus hides behind the sun for 7 weeks retrogrades 43 days, 4+3=7, every 77 weeks, Venus was the son of Sah (Orion), known as Sopdu, or Septu (7), joining the 3 sevens of Venus, creates the sign of Sopdu, the Triangle, and the Weeping Eye of Venus (Jeanne crater) is located at 40 degrees N Lat, 331 degrees longitude, 3+3+1=7, Jeanne cater is a triangle shaped crater with an eye in it's center, facing Earth at each retrograde. The 60 degree triangle made from 7 equals 24 hours, 3x60=3 hrs. 7x3=21hrs. and 60x7=420, code for time to "Seek Reefer", played in reverse, Ophiuchus, the physician Asclepius, "He Knows Dope" played in reverse, echoes "420". Ophiuchus is the Serpent Bearer, play the words "Sin Eve" in reverse to echo "Venus".

Isn't it odd how Baal holds his hand above his head like Orion does, even the hand out front is the same pose, sorry, but your Baal is Orion, play "Say Oath, Yam" in reverse, it echoes May Taurus, Yam was the god of the Sea. Yam is the deity of the primordial chaos and represents the power of the sea, untamed and raging. Mot was Lord of the Underworld. Across from Orion is Sagittarius, seen as Pabilsag, Lord of the Underworld. Something you might not know about the name Orion. AN ANCIENT MESOPOTAMIAN HERBAL HANDBOOK VOLUME 1 uru.an.na = maš/ltakal, “URU.AN.NA means the plant called maš /ltakal” related to Fish oil, or seamen, and mud-ur.mah = “lion's blood". The Series URU.AN.NA and MUD-UR.MAH. Volume 1: The Tablets, Gilgamesh pits URU AN-NA, meaning "the Light of Heaven," against GUD AN-NA, Bull of Heaven, Taurus and Orion.

It, oddly, ends up having the opposite effect a lot of the time. I remember a video coming out some 15 years ago that threw people in a tizzy for suggesting a lot of parallels between Christian mythos and Egyptian; it wasn't the most accurate, but the postulation seemed to be that if a parallel could be drawn, if discounts the efficacy. That, of course, isn't true, but when you treat a belief system like it HAS to exist in a vacuum, you cannot be surprised when the believers, ignorant to the evolution, are confronted with new information. Tolkein, iirc, actually took the opposite approach, and believed that Jesus was the fulfillment of ALL of these belief systems and structures, sort of arguing for a collective unconscious theory that perpetuated stories leading to (or in unconscious reference of) a the "true Christ".

Resurrection was pre-mortem and was a drug induced NDE. This was the Eleusinian Mystery Ritual. The Greek drug was Kykeon. The Egyptians used the Blue Lotus. Adam used a piece of fruit, supposedly. Gilgamesh had to go swimming for his.

Doesn't really apply to a crucifixion victim. Or to more ancient mythological Gods. Believers and initiates in mystery cults might take such drugs to experience something like what they believed their Gods did, but it's hard to come up with any specific links to the origins. To show that Dionysus was a real person who used some drug to fake death and resurrection. Or that Horus or Osiris were.

@@matthewbecker7389 I think it highly unlikely he was crucified. No one ever got taken down. Ever. The myth of his crucifiction was to follow the Jewish Scapegoat nonsense. And that is human sacrifice. Which is abhorrent. More likely he just left town. Got out of the neighbourhood. The indication of his prior Eleusinian Ritual is in his parables and the Gospel of Thomas.

According to Diodorus Siculus (1st century BCE), Isis raised Horus from the dead. "Furthermore, she discovered also the drug which gives immortality, by means of which she not only raised from the dead her son Horus, who had been the object of plots on the part of the Titans and had been found dead under the water, giving him his soul again, but also made him immortal." - Bibliotheca Historica 1.25.6 "The resurrection of Osiris is the closest analogy to the resurrection of Jesus, although Osiris remains in the netherworld - wherever it is located. Horus's resurrection is a clear analogy. The rebirth or resurrection of Dionysus also provides a fairly close analogy to the resurrection of Jesus...Just as the Greek of the LXX and NT has its place in the matrix of Classical Greek, so the resurrection of Christ can be placed in the matrix of the bodily resurrections of cult figures from the Mediterranean world." - John Granger Cook, Empty Tomb, Apotheosis, Resurrection, pg. 143.

My personal favourite "resurrection" account is the story of the boxer Cleomedes of Astypalia, who went tonto after being disqualified at the Olympics in 492 BC and smashed up a gym, killing many children. The angry townspeople chased him into a temple, where he hid inside a box. But when the box was opened, Cleomedes had vanished. The Oracle of Delphi declared that he had become a god and should thenceforth be worshipped. Very like the empty tomb.

"One significant example comes from Justin Martyr (c. 100-165 AD), an early Christian apologist. In his First Apology (Chapter 21), Justin acknowledges similarities between Christian beliefs about Jesus and stories of pagan gods. He argues that these pagan stories were imitations created by demons to preemptively confuse people and undermine the truth of Christianity. Justin uses examples like the stories of Dionysus and Osiris to show how certain elements in pagan myths were superficially similar to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus but contends that these stories were distorted imitations, not true revelations."

The stories of resurrections of those in ancient times are great literature. The oh's and ah's of action packed novels. But things have changed. Humanity, because of science want's more down to earth, 'Show me, where's the evidence...' It's funny, ironic that Jesus rose from the dead, but the Roman soldiers fell asleep, at just the right moment and no one saw a thing. But, because no one can prove it didn't happen, it happened. Not today in 2024. If YOU can't prove it happened, it DIDN'T HAPPEN! Faith? Faith in what? 'Look, I'll pay for the car later or the groceries or the smart phone, just have faith.' No one has that kind of faith anymore. Why, because some peoples claimed this guy rose from the dead and he'll be back very soon to show you all something glorious... 2,000 years later, still waiting. When will humanity wake up? Life is not a Shakespearian play. Nobody was ever resurrected, and I have proof!

You seem to be comparing Resurrection with Rebirth, they are not the same, resurrection, you keep our old body, you receive a new body with rebirth. Resurrection happens everyday these days, many people claim they died and came back to life, some saying they seen a bright light, others say they seen their relatives. When they died, they floated above their body, seeing what was going on at the time of their death, some even have a witness to their story, backed up by their head scratching doctor, that sounds like a ghost to me, are they real, some people claim they are real too. Old cemeteries use to have bells attached to the dead, in case they resurrected. Resurrection is not the same as rebirth. The dying and rising motif of the ancient world isn't the same as resurrection, it's based on what was seen in the natural world, everything dying during the winter, reborn during the spring. Dionysus is not resurrection, where is the body of Dionysus, no where to be found, he was stomped, shredded, fermented, and turned to wine, reborn in a New Body, to all who consumed him, now you have the spirit of Dionysus in you, you drunken fool, ha ha ha, me, I prefer the spirit of Mari, her Juana is a gift from God, she waits for him every Sabbath, at the top of her high mountain, hiding deep in her cave, for the return of serpentine lover, Suggar Maju, her Maculu (Maqlu), her Burning, in her cave, she speaks culu, it means Reverse, hearing her, through her macalla, her Echo. "He knows Dope, Seek Reefer" played in reverse, echoes "Ophiuchus, 420", high up in the heavens, the 7 stars of Ophiuchus outline a Cave Door, seen as the physician Asclepius, who could resurrect the dead, learning the art from a serpent, who placed a leaf on the head of the dead (snake). "Her Bid One, Wise Quotes, She Raise Dead" played in reverse, echoes "Antares, Scorpio, November". The Serpent hangs on a cross, using the pyramidal top of Ophiuchus, at the bottom of the cross, the heart of the scorpion, the red star Antares. "Her Birth God, Heart Beat" played in reverse, echoes "Libra, October", on the other side of the Cross, the Golden Gate of the gods, from where the Dying and Rising God returns, "Her Message, Say there is a Guest", played in reverse, echoes "Sagittarius, December". Sagittarius was seen as Pabilsag, the father of the Dying and Rising God of Healing, Damu "The Child", known as a Cullagh, a boar. The word "cullach" or "collach" is a Scots word that means "boar" or "wicked hunter". Damu was seen as the Head of Draco, the dragon, Draco and Ursa Major was known as Taweret, the Goddess of Rebirth, known as Reret, "The Sow", wife of the Black Boar, Seth, the 7 stars of the Big Dipper, the "Thigh of the Bull's Leg", Mac Culloch means "Little Calf". Taweret is the Hippopotamus with limbs of a Lion, wearing a Crocodile skin on her head, in Sumerian, Dimshah means both Bear (Ursa) and Hippopotamus, 'dim' meaning 'post, pillar, pole, bond, knot, binding', shah and sah, are the same, it means Pig, sahu means Boar, but shah also means Heart, and Dim means Demon, Dimshah means Demon Heart, what you find hiding in the hearts of the Bear and Hippopotamus if you come near their young, the Sow will do the same if if you mess with their young. Orion holds his Club in the center of the Silver Gate of Man, he was know as Sah, "Sahu the Hidden One', playing the words "They All Rule" in reverse, echoes "Orion", "Say Oath" will echo the bull "Taurus", "Beyond the Mist" will echo "Gemini", the two constellations Orion holds his Club between. Mashu is the Sacred Mountain, mashu means Twin, the name of Gemini, the Twin Dragons at the foot of Uras sacred mountain, vomiting the waters of the Milky Way Galaxy, Uras is the mountainous wife of Anu the Sky God. Ursa Minor, the Wolf headed son of Seth, brother of Anubis, Wepwawet, "Opener of the Ways", "Protector of the Belly", protected by the Goddess Neith, the Virgin Virgo, her name mean "The Terrifying One". Resurrection and rebirth in the ways you have defined them is simply semantics, unless you consider rebirth to be reincarnation with a different mind, or one that has to remember where it came from. In quite a few of these ancient religions, resurrection/birth is into the realm of paradise (afterlife/netherworld), which you cannot go into with a natural body, thus you must receive a new body. Jesus teaches that we will receive new bodies, and everyone considers his teaching to be of resurrection, but even when he talks about dying, if you die in him, though your die, yet you shall live, being born into life, and dwelling with him in paradise (Abraham's Bosom). I am not making a difference between resurrection and rebirth. Those words do not inherently draw a line between each other, but the context around the word is what matters. There is only one major difference that matters when talking about immortality...gaining it consciously with memories fully intact, or gaining it unconsciously and having to remember it (reincarnation). In the Osirian mysteries, they are two different parts of one cycles. The spirit of Amun is born into a woman's womb, and that boy grows up as a son of Amun, aka Horus, then in death he becomes the lamb of Re, taking his seat next to Osiris in the underworld and becoming one with Osiris, then taking the righteous dead with him, after the judgment in which Thoth was judge, and leading them into resurrection into the sky as the conqueror Ra for the age of an Ibis, which is anywhere from 400-1000 years reign in the sky, and at the apex of the journey, they stay in the holy city above, where Ra unites with Amun, becoming Amun Re, and his light radiates where his light is greater than the sun, and his people are in constant light, then they go to the western horizon and Ra is born again into a man, and dies again to collect more souls from the underworld. So in this example, Osiris is reincarnated (reborn), dies, then resurrects (born into paradise with an ethereal body), and with that body, those who rise with him also rise with like bodies, not flesh bodies. So your definition of resurrection almost doesn't exist in most of these stories, because almost all of them resurrect with a superior body. So I wouldn't try to give them different definitions, because at times they can be the same and sometimes they are different, but its all about the context.

@@Eastra3 Did you find all of that reading my comment. In Egyptian mythology, Horus is an immortal god who is never mentioned as dying, so how does he take his set next to Osiris in death, I believe his is associated with the horizon, it is the horizon that slays the bull every evening. The lower the sun drops in the west, the longer the shadows grow, like the horns on the bull with age, off with the Bull's head, cut off by the horizon, he holds the light of the sun for 35 minutes, known as dusk, same is true for Dawn, lasting 35 minutes. Our Sun is tilted 7 degrees, at the equator, a 25 day spin, 2+5=7, much slower at each pole, 35 days each, 35+35=70. A point on the 7 degree tilted sun takes 79 years to complete one full rotation, 79 years is a cycle kept by Mars and Mercury, like twins, they show up together on the same day in the same sign every 79 years, Mars retrogrades 70 to 79 days, loops back around to the same spot in 707 days, conjuncts with Venus 3 times in 9 months, on a 77 month cycle, Venus retrogrades 43 days every 77 weeks, 7 weeks hidden behind the sun. Mercury year is 88 days, 8+8=16, hiding a 7, retrogrades 22 times every 7 years, each retrograde happens 120 degrees from the last, after 3 retro's, a triangle, 7 triangles every 7 years, but Mercury spins so slow, having only 6 day of of sunlight every Earth year, but if you count Mercury's second sunrise, happing at mid day, it makes 7 days. I left out the dates to my first comment. On a Leap Year, September 6th is the 250th day of the year, 115 days left, both numbers reduce to 7, together they equal 14, and 1+4=5, or May 14 14th May is the Panegyric of Isis (Aset) Egyptian Celebration, when Asar (Osiris) was found and Aset (Isis) duly celebrated, which is 115 days before September 6th, 250 days after September 6th, which is 16 days before the Autumn Equinox, 106 days before the Winter Solstice, 169 days after the Spring Equinox, back up 7 days, August 31 is 183 days before and after February 29th, Leap Day, September is 77 (Twin Sevens) after the Summer Solstice. Go backwards 9 months, plus 24 hours, December 5th is Krampus Day, the Bad Santa, his mas, his Twin, add 7 hours to it, 9 months 1 day 7 hours equals 6,606 hours, at 34 degrees N latitude, you find the same mid heaven star at both dates. Leap Year, September 6th 2040, day of the New Moon, when all the visible planets align with the hand star Spica in Virgo, looking like a sword in her hand. New Moon is the Dark moon. hidden from sight, first sight of the new moon is September 8th, the birthday of Mary, mother of Jesus. September 6th 2040 will be my 79th birthday, place Orion's sword on the horizon, you find Alula at mid heaven, it means "First Born", the star at the tip of Orion's sword is Hatysa, in Sanskrit, Hatya means Slaughter, Gohatya means Cow Slaughter, but in Hebrew, 'yasa' means Savior, 'hata' means "to Sin", Savior of Sinners, in Egyptian, 'haty' means Heart, the 'SA' is a sign meaning "Lifesaver". Hiding in Hatysa is Haya, Sumerian meaning Grain/Seed, Haya is the God of Scribes known as the Door Keeper, the husband of the Grain Goddess Nisaba, the star Spica in Virgo. Spiculum means Spear, Roger means "Famous Spear", but it is slang for Orion's Sword, the part of Seth that Horus cut off, ha ha ha, we call it Orion's Club, every year on the day of the Summer Solstice, you find the Sun at the tip of Orion's Club, seeding it with his haya, in the center of the Silver Gate of man. Every year on the day of the Winter Solstice, you find the Sun next to the little blood red spot Spiculum in Sagittarius, where you find the stars 7 and 9 of Sagittarius, known as the lagoon Nebula, a body of water that the sun must cross on the day it stops moving on the southeastern horizon for 3 days. The Speculum is a tool used by doctors, placed into the woman where babies come out, Sagittarius is the location of the Golden Gate of the Gods. Sorry but your pretty words mean nothing to me unless you can show me what they were talking about, what I've showed you was proof in a magic way, hidden from bone headed scholars, egos inflated by their opinion holes, when they open their mouths, it makes me laugh, like breathing laughing gas. Is that your understanding, or did you read that in one of these scholars books, sounds like Abraham is Osiris, waiting for Moses to lead the chosen to the promise land.

@@MrBlazingup420 No, I did not find all of that reading your comment lol. It was put in there as fun fact to better explain my stance. When I was mentioning the Osirian cycle, I was going counterclockwise from the apex of the sky (12o'clock) to the throne of the underworld (6o'clock). So when I mentioned the spirit of Amun being reborn in a man, as Horus, that is in the western horizon, before entering the western gates at the mouth of Nut, so I didn't explain how I was going through the cycle, but we agree that Horus is in the west. Also, because it is an eternal cycle, I am saying that Horus is immortal, because he has already taken his trip around. So I don't disagree on that. You are saying that Horus never died, but when the Sun is being used as in the analogy, it is considered that the sun dies in the western gates every night, hence your 'slaying the bull'. Sometimes the symbolism isn't completely 1:1, but it is supposed to be, so I'll have to do some research on that. I know Horus didn't die a tragic death like Osiris. hmm, maybe you can help me figure this one out. Also, I learned about Osirian mystery religion from a book called, 'Egyptian Origin of the Book of Revelation', by John H.C. Pippy PhD. He believes the book of Revelation was actually taken off the walls of the Tomb of Ramses. He was not the first to believe the mysteries and symbolism of the book of Revelation were only able to be understood by understanding Egyptian mysteries. I do not know this other book you speak of, but I do know that the Hebrew mysteries in the Bible, especially those of the Dead Sea Scrolls have some similarities to the Osirian mystery religions. In the book of Enoch, the Lake of fire is towards the west, which is the same as the Osirian mystery religion, as Osiris and his followers renew themselves in the Lake of the dismembered by Anat I think. Or like in the book of 2 Esdras, the messiah will end the world with his death, and his chosen will be resurrected with him in the new earth after 7 days. This has similarities to how the Egyptian Gods remake and are born into a new earth cycle if I am correct. There are many more, but this is just off the top my head. Oh, and Matthew 27: 51-54, where the dead (probably from paradise) resurrect when the earthquake splits open the graves as soon as Jesus dies on the cross, hence, Jesus dies and resurrects with the dead, albeit he rose with his body 2 days later, but with Osiris it is the same concept, and Hosea 6:1-2 also lend to this concept, where the lamb goes into the underworld to transport those in paradise, east of the underworld in Enoch, to heaven. I have the Book of the Dead, and am trying to get some of the other ones, like Book of the Cow, Amduat, Book of Aker, and the Book of Gates. This book I read tries to tackle as many correlations as it can find, and even admits that some correlations are weak and unlikely, but he put them in there to leave no stones unturned. One chapter is trying to find hints of 12 tribes of Israel in the Osirian mystery books, since Revelation has 2 chapters in which the 12 tribes are mentioned, but he admits this was one of his weaker correlations, and I found it to be the weakest in the book by far. He had another one called 'The song of Moses', in which the chapter is mostly about the parallels of the Lake of Fire in Revelation and The Victory Hymn of Thutmosis III and Book of Gates. So maybe there is some similarities in the book you mentioned and the book I read, but I just gave you 2 chapters of 28, which the rest have nothing to do with Moses or Joseph and 12 tribes. None of the chapters claimed Abraham was Osiris or Moses leading them to the promise land. This book tried to be have as little an agenda as possible outside of showing the Book of Revelation had Osirian influence. I read this book a year ago, so it's not fresh in my mind, but after your response to me, its almost like I remember you from other KZbin responses, and it might have been one of your long responses like this that made me go research some of this stuff. So feel free to recommend me some more books to read lol. I am just a baby when it comes to astronomy, and I see you are not. So thankyou for passing wisdom to me. I do observe the moons religiously, and am beginning to study the workings of the rest of the celestial clock. Matter fact, today is my holy day that I have spent on religious subjects, as it is a half moon. October 2nd will be the next new moon, and October 16th the next full moon. Hopefully one day soon I will know the science of the heavens as well as you do.

'Seven arguments against christian dependence on the mysteries. ... seven points that undermine liberal efforts to show that first-century Christianity borrowed essential beliefs and practices from the pagan mystery religions. Arguments offered to prove a Christian dependence on the mysteries illustrate the logical fallacy of false cause. This fallacy is committed whenever someone reasons that just because two things exist side by side, one of them must have caused the other. As we all should know, mere coincidence does not prove causal connection. Nor does similarity prove dependence. Many alleged similarities between Christianity and the mysteries are either greatly exaggerated or fabricated. Scholars often describe pagan rituals in language they borrow from Christianity. The careless use of language could lead one to speak of a Last Supper in Mithraism or a baptism in the cult of Isis. It is inexcusable nonsense to take the word savior with all of its New Testament connotations and apply it to Osiris or Attis as though they were savior-gods in any similar sense. The chronology is all wrong. Almost all of our sources of information about the pagan religions alleged to have influenced early Christianity are dated very late. We frequently find writers quoting from documents written 300 years later than Paul in efforts to produce ideas that allegedly influenced Paul. We must reject the assumption that just because a cult had a certain belief or practice in the third or fourth century after Christ, it therefore had the same belief or practice in the first century. Paul would never have consciously borrowed from the pagan religions. All of our information about him makes it highly unlikely that he was in any sense influenced by pagan sources. He placed great emphasis on his early training in a strict form of Judaism (Phil. 3:5). He warned the Colossians against the very sort of influence that advocates of Christian syncretism have attributed to him, namely, letting their minds be captured by alien speculations (Col. 2:8). Early Christianity was an exclusivistic faith. As J. [Gresham] Machen explains, the mystery cults were nonexclusive. A man could become initiated into the mysteries of Isis or Mithras without at all giving up his former beliefs; but if he were to be received into the Church, according to the preaching of Paul, he must forsake all other Saviors for the Lord Jesus Christ…. Amid the prevailing syncretism of the Greco-Roman world, the religion of Paul, with the religion of Israel, stands absolutely alone. This Christian exclusivism should be a starting point for all reflection about the possible relations between Christianity and its pagan competitors. Any hint of syncretism in the New Testament would have caused immediate controversy. Unlike the mysteries, the religion of Paul was grounded on events that actually happened in history. The mysticism of the mystery cults was essentially nonhistorical. Their myths were dramas, or pictures, of what the initiate went through, not real historical events, as Paul regarded Christ’s death and resurrection to be. The Christian affirmation that the death and resurrection of Christ happened to a historical person at a particular time and place has absolutely no parallel in any pagan mystery religion. What few parallels may still remain may reflect a Christian influence on the pagan systems. As Bruce Metzger has argued, ‘It must not be uncritically assumed that the Mysteries always influenced Christianity, for it is not only possible but probable that in certain cases, the influence moved in the opposite direction.’ It should not be surprising that leaders of cults that were being successfully challenged by Christianity should do something to counter the challenge. What better way to do this than by offering a pagan substitute? Pagan attempts to counter the growing influence of Christianity by imitating it are clearly apparent in measures instituted by Julian the Apostate, who was the Roman emperor from AD 361 to 363.'

Biblical stories are only very superficially similar to ancient polytheistic myths about dying and resurrecting heroes and gods and all that sort of thing which usually are inspired by natural phenomena like the cycle of the seasons and the behaviour of celestial bodies like the sun and moon. The crucial difference being that biblical stories are anchored in very relatable human characters and tell very human stories with the supernatural aspects being like a kind of cosmic topping. The story of the birth of Jesus, his family and what happens to him in the end is nothing like the myth of Attis or of Osiris and similar dying/resurrecting gods myths as the latter are so obviously allegorical and more often than not have no moral or ethical implications unlike the Jesus story that has a host of ethical and moral implications to it. Unless you take this factor into account one will never understand why Christ won out over Mithras, Osiris, Adonis and Atys .

Derek, et al., It would have been unusual during and right before the time of Jesus to have very strong similarities between Jesus and other Greco-Roman Savior deities without there being some syncretism between the two religions. Put another way, if the story of Jesus didn't somewhat parallel the preceding stories of Romulus, Asclepius, Zalmoxis, Dionysus, and others, then it would be OK to say that it is wholly unique and possibly divinely inspired, but that's not what we see. Quite the contrary, we see detail after detail nearly perfectly matching in general theme and motif preceding and very well known fictional stories, stories that would have been known to and read by any person with a working grasp of the Greek language. It would be difficult for someone at that time to have learned to read and write in Greek without them having studied, read, and memorized the classics.

Here is some noise Derrick and thank you so much for all you are doing. Doesn't the number 3 in world mythology always represent the same thing? Triumph over the season of death? Based on the sacred promise Mother Nature demonstrates to all who incarnate in her world. Winter is her season of death which lasts 3 months. And is always... always... always... followed by the season of life. Known as Spring. Which is also 3 months long. And is the season of rebirth and reconstitution and resurrection. Didn't dying and rising Deities all arise out of the Agricultural period which emerged out of the Hunter Gatherer period which preceded it. And don't dying and rising Gods symbolize the annual death and resurrection cycle of Mother Nature. Which consists of 12 sacred lunar cycles. Also every month the moon dies for 3 days... and then is reborn anew as a sacred new moon. This is why dying and rising gods are entombed for 3 days... before they resurrect. This is why Hermes Trismegistus was known as... "The Thrice Great." As he was famous for triumphing over the season of death. Just like Jesus The Christ... sometime later. This is what the 3 Mithraic wise men represent. And this is all the Christian Trinity actually symbolizes. It isn't about the individual literary personas but rather the sacred underlying promise of the number 3. Which is what most parental deity religions are selling. Entrance into Studio 54... for only the best people. Which has long been a hugely profitable marketing concept. As the staggering material wealth of the Roman Catholic Empire demonstrates. And why the Mafia has always been so Roman Catholic. As they are simply the shadow side of the Roman Catholic Empire. Which is why they get to launder their money through the Vatican Bank. And why the Vatican Bank destroys all records every 1O years. 💙

Resurrection? That is the definition of materialism. There is only one entity in existence. Only one exists. It drives all creatures and fungus. Every spore. The name humans give is a label for an ego. The ego is a thoughtform attached to memory. Everything you consider you is actually Ego. Ego does not exist..Ego is separated from God. It is the only opposition to the will of God. I create the Good and the Evil.... there is none besides Me.- God through "Isaiah " . The ego is comprised of memories of perceptive experience. You view this world as if it is your individuated self living in a created environment. In reality, the non fractialized you is the environment, all the creatures, all the nothing these memory sensors cannot fathom... just you, guy , without that silly Ego. Enki was the god of the Abzu, a freshwater aquifer believed to exist from which all springs, wells and rivers were thought to originate, the chief Sumerian deity being Anu, the sky god. Among post Jesus examples of belief in resurrection we can include the Roman emperor Nero Redivivus (Nero who lives again) who it was widely believed had been resurrected. Caesar wrote the Druids taught that after death people continued to live on in another place, as it were, which he thought was to take away the fear of death from supporters & make them fight all the harder. Legendary King Arthur was said to have come back to life after residing in stasis in a cave for years and remained alive centuries after his supposed death. In some ways a refusal to believe that Hitler was dead and still lived was a continuation of this resurrectionist belief in a more recent time.

Simon the Zealot, that is, Simon Zelotes, is, in deed, none other than Simon the Zealot par ex- cellence, the Master Zealot, whose fiery zeal burned vainly against the Romans. Simon the Tanner is, there is little doubt, another variant. There is no single word in the Hebrew scriptures which is the exact equivalent for the Greek burseus, a tanner. But the Hebrew words bara ghor, " to make leather," give us fairly good play on the name of the greatest general of the Jews. Simon the Leper, mentioned in Mark 14: 3, appears in the Syriac text as " Shimon Girwa" which is about as close as a scribe slightly weak on orthography, would be expected to get to the name Shimon Giwora or Gi'ora.

Evidence that old tropes sell books. I bet at least one of your viewers can name a character who gets diced or dumped, disappears for a while and then comes back with enhanced power. Be it anime or ancient myth, an epic storyline is an epic storyline. (Fist of the North Star, Rocky, pokemon, ...)

The editing for these videos are just top notch!, I enjoy all the content regardless and have for years now, but, wow! it’s as polished as anything on the established networks. kudos to you and the team.

With most of these 'resurrecting gods', the story of them dying and rising wasn't to be an analogy for the cycle of seasons in the natural world, but the other way around, in which the cycles of the natural world were analogies to their (gods) ability to come and go over and over for eternity.

Why are there so many people on you tube who try so hard to prove that Jesus was a fraud? What is the motivation? Why should anyone care? You don't believe His message, ok then why not move on and simply enjoy your life? What drives people to not only make the videos, but also to voice their disbelief of Christ and His Kingdom message? Is it a nagging, persistent guilt that haunts you? Is it some external force coercing you to reject Him? Is it a fear that rejecting Him may have eternal consequences? Is it because you tried believing and you were disappointed? Is it just too much of a stretch to believe supernatural events? I wonder what motivates unbelief.

Not even close. Jesus made promises, and he is the one true God. But yes, there are other gods. But yahwe is ours.
