Not just a Parody ....a co-opting. The writers of the Gospels fictions were creating a link to the Flavians using Jesus Son of Man prophesies. They are typology and thus propaganda not history.

@@earlychristianhistorywithm8684 Robert Eisenman thinks the hypothesis is possible and thinks there needs to be more research. Robert Price at first skeptical has come around to support the hypothesis. Even if there were zero it is obvious that there really has been a failure in scholarship and it is evident to anyone who knows the evidence. Good thing they don't have a monopoly on the scientific method or knowledge. John Hudson a cultural Anthropologist has written many papers on the Flavian Hypothesis. The Late Great Cliff Carrington discovered that it was likely the Flavians behind the Gospels. Rod Blackhist Religious Studies teacher at LaTrobe University also promotes the hypothesis. Scholar James Valiant shows in his book Creating Christ How Roman Emperors Invented Christianity that there is archeology that lead us to believe the Flavians were directly linked to Early Christianity's genesis. Then literary analyst Joe Atwill who opened pandora's box with his discover of the sequence in the already well know parallels between the gospel story and War of the Jews proves the gospels are propaganda with his discovery. If you cannot relate to me the several hypotheses or the evidences for them then I think you would be doing yourself a favor if you learned them. If nothing else it is a brilliant theory with more explanatory power than any of the current hypothesis regarding the gospel fictions. And as you probably know the Flavians have always been great candidates for the creation of the Gospel propaganda as just about all scholars agree they were written in or after the Flavian period and the Flavians claimed they were the fulfillment of the Daniel prophesies regarding Messiah and the Star Prophesy.
