Spiritual warfare is true. Having experienced it many many times. Stay the course with God no matter what. My father always said: everything in moderation. Stay humble and keep Faith in Almighty God. Nothing to excess.

It’s something like realizing your sins and actively trying to stop doing it. Like let’s say u watch porn first thing is to realize it in ur heart that it’s a sin and then reject it every time u get tempted. But the feeling of getting tempted in ur heart only comes when u seriously try to reject it(and u can really feel the devil tempting u). This is one of the examples of spiritual warfare.

The warfare is fighting the temptation to sin fighting the temptation to repeat those patterns of doing harm to self and others Some examples of doing harm to self and others are sexual misconduct, fighting to get revenge, feeling hatred, gossip, eatingto excess, giving in to sloth and laziness, indifference toward the world and others, etc. Sometimes these habit patterns are very deep rooted, and it’s a serious battle to not give in, but persisting day in and day out one opens themselves up to God‘s grace.

Who will actually enter God’s kingdom? How can I guarantee that I’m going to heaven? The Bible distinguishes those who have eternal life from those who do not: “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12). It all goes back to faith. Those who believe in Christ are made the children of God (John 1:12). Those who accept Jesus’ sacrifice as the payment for their sins and who believe in His resurrection are going to heaven. Those who reject Christ are not. “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:18). As awesome as heaven will be for those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, hell will be that much more awful for those who reject Him. One cannot read the Bible seriously without seeing it over and over again-the line is drawn. The Bible says there is one and only one way to heaven-Jesus Christ. Follow Jesus’ command: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). Faith in Jesus is the one means of going to heaven. Those who have faith are guaranteed to get there. Do you trust in Jesus? Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here?

I hate saying this.... But these sorts of talks do not inspire me; they make me feel like I'm just doomed and have no chance. And that the vaaaaast majority of human beings go to Hell. I work 10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, doing physical labor. And I can't even watch a film or show when I get home... Is everyone to be a monastic just to NOT go to Hell? No pleasure in this life whatsoever? Even Christ didn't carry His cross for His entire life. He went to weddings and drank and danced!

I believe the clear message is to “not (indulge )one self in the things of this world “ . I understand your everyday obligations to live are challenging, Yet if One does not take enough time each every day to praise pray to Jesus Christ, your Not taking up your cross, nor have you become the new man by crucifying the flesh. Another reason why it’s also written: walk the Difficult Narrow path , that leads to everlasting life w/ Him 🔥 for the broad path is easy doing the pleasurable things, sins of this world, leads to death . Peace to You 🙋🏽‍♂️always my Brotha .

@@JOHN-ei2tn Yep, another verse that says most people go to Hell.... And Fr. Spyridon doesn't say to stick to a prayer rule and read scripture every day in this video, he says "ABANDON the things of this world."

@ my friend it is easy to sear one’s Conscience in our desires of the flesh . Convincing yourself it’s only once in while I can . That’s is why Our Savior gave Us the gift of Repentance. To genuine cry over our filthy sins . And Yes , your right when you say most are on the path to hell .
