@ConvincedofChristianity because we should strive to be holy. Knowing that we are still sinners in the meantime. The Bible says our good deeds are like filthy rags. Do not forget that in order to attend the 🙏Wedding Supper Of The Lamb✝️ You must have on your White Wedding Garment. Which Jesus✨️Gives to us. Underneath our sins are red as Crimson. Jesus is Holy🙏Not us. Not even the Pope himself.

The "type" of prayer matters little as long as it is genuine and your heart and mind are completely submissive. If you feel that you cannot simply keep praying...regularly.

Go to the Orthodox Church, get baptized, go to confession, participate in the life of the Church, do fasting, take, Communion, do prostrations, daily prayers and reading, do the Jesus prayer always, never judge others but be merciful. Talk with your spiritual Father about all these things. God bless!

Think about letting go of everything and everyone. There you likely will feel fear and start to wonder how to keep all. That fight against letting go...The opposite of that fight is humility when understanding, God is all we need. There's definitely human pain in every way when giving self over to humility.
