This is one of those songs that really makes me stop and consider the lyrics every time its sung. "How can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?" How is that even possible? I am guilty of singing hymns many times and not thinking about what is being said, but this one is never just rote for me, every single time i hear that particular phrase, i cant help but stop and think and dwell on that amazing aspect of what has been done for me.

One of my very favorite songs. Thank you for making this arrangement of it, Sir! I can't sing it like I used to when I was younger and had a higher range, but I now appreciate the other parts (i.e., harmonies) that I could never appreciate when I was younger and only sang melody in choirs or groups. I really appreciate arrangements where I can hear the harmonies so clearly.
