Oh the first song is very purposefully made to sound like a disney intro song. They have fun with the juxtaposition between the kind of tune everyone recognises from happy go lucky disney beginnings and the fact that it takes place in literal hell.

I'm looking forward to watching your HH journey. I would probably not suggest separating the song reaction from the show primarily because the songs are not adjacent to the story - they are part of the story. They serve a definite role in advancing the narrative and in character development.

@@deerspring_ eh not realy the word in the original bible was צֵלָע which while yes can be translated as rib צֵלָע was exclusively used to mean side in the rest of the bible so it's more accurate to say eve was made from a side of Adam they're 2 half's that make a whole but most people don't know that and Adams a dumbass so I would bet that even though he was litterly there he still believes she was made from a rib

It's soft canon, so it's only partly canon, with some details being changed. We know the general events of the Pilot happens, as is mentioned in Episodes 1 and 2, but details such as Vaggie's real name being Vagatha was retconned and is no longer true to the actual series, also Alastor's personality is a bit different in the series, and some of the lore was not completely done when the Pilot was made.

Fair warning. Episode 4 is the only episode of the season that is rated 18+. This is for a good reason as it covers some very difficult topics in a very real way. The episode also has one of the best songs of the series so it is definitely worth watching.
