not only is this a stunningly emotive piece, it was the first choral performance I saw that made me love choral music. I've been singing in choirs for 6 years now including a year in this very choir, thank you 2019 choro

Excellent performance by young people who know how emotive this would be to all ANZACS; especially for those whose relatives lived like this on Gallipoli in 1915. Australia and New Zealand have fought side by side in many conflicts since. We are truly "brothers in arms". My time in Vietnam was linked to 161 Artillery Battery (NZ), who provided close and accurate artillery fire during the Battle of Firebase Coral on May 12th 1968 and right up to June 6th. This same KIWI group gave outstanding "Danger Close" fire support to those Australians of D Company, 6 Battalion, at Long Tan on August 18th 1966. If young Australians ever have to fight for Freedom again, just hope the Kiwis are at your shoulder. Just an old Digger's thoughts.

Just a stunning rendition of this haunting tribute to the fallen. This was a very complex choral arrangement and these young people absolutely nailed it!

Unexpected but excellent rendition of an excellent song. So powerful! I learned this song from the singing of Liam Clancy 40 years ago and have performed it thousands of times without ever dreaming it could be done by a choir. Superlative.

I want to thank to all for your great and the most meaningful song. When I listened to that song in Turkey I'm feeling your felings in my heart.Your soldiers who came to Gallipoli is still our brothers and will be so...

Ilhan, I was in Turkey and Greece a few weeks ago. I spent a few hours at the cemetery for New Zealand and Australian soldiers at Souda Bay, Crete. When I think of what happened to our soldiers in war, I also think of those on the opposing side. They were all someone's son, brother, husband. We must remember them, no matter which army. Bless you Ilhan.

Quite possibly the most heartfelt & thought-about rendition of this great, sad song that I have seen or heard. The feelings, the sense of loss & hurt are timeless. Dennis Moore.

I applaud these young people performing this song when you consider that the young men are of an age that correspond with the fellow they're singing about. I'm an old fart and no way I could make it through with breaking down. Damn fine job!!

Gallipoli - The campaign that created three modern countries - Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. Ataturk, the father of modern Turkey said so movingly "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives - You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours - You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."
