Deb and Liz I am a new subscriber to your channel and I have started to watch your old videos and I am enjoying them. Look forward to watching your videos. My plans for 2021 is to do 6 large, 6 medium, and throughout the year do Christmas ornaments. I am thinking for next year I will buy a small Christmas tree and put my cross stitch ornaments on it. I am also thinking about doing a scrapbook to put my cross stitch in because I can't frame everything or put them on the wall because of limited space. I am really excited to start. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ladies! I've been watching you two on and off for about a year. I don't always get to keep up because throughout a year I spend a lot of time traveling and visiting between 3 states (sometimes 4). So between Montana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and NC I don't always get to watch. I do love the days I get to binge though! I'm an old cross-stitcher rekindling the flame this year but only working on one project at a time since my first love is quilting. Either way it's all hand work and I binge the two of you and sew on whichever I grab! I have several floss tube subscriptions but I can honestly say..it's yours I look for first! :) Hope next year brings us all better 'stitching' friends!

Growing up our cat would climb the tree...after knocking it over (already decorated) one night, my Dad put eye hooks in the wall, which stayed in there all year, and wired the tree to the wall...lol

My sister to.d me that trees this year were scarce because of the recession in 2008, which caused fewer trees to be planted. Apparently it takes 12 years for trees to reach 6-8 feet. I agree that people decorated much more at home, because we are all home to enjoy the decorations!

I'm watching the day after Christmas and stitching along. It was a nice visit. I love that little stocking. Liz, it's neat your sis is in Kingsport. I am in Knoxville and had 5 + inches of snow in my yard and it has been beautiful!! It's the only white Christmas my children have seen because the first of the four was born in 1989. Hi Ladies👋. Love the WIPs. Here in uk people are panic buying because some areas going into lockdown and shelves are bare. I'm a all year Xmas shopper too. Applys to birthdays ext..... you'll never know when you'll find that special gift. I have a cupboard especially to put them in.

We started a new tradition about three years ago. I buy gingerbread house kits and we sit around the table after our holiday dinner and each put our own together. This year I ordered and had them delivered to each house and we are going to FaceTime together Christmas Eve and all put them together in our our homes. 😁

I'm still on the fence about ordering as I have a 1 year old Elan lap stand. I also can't decide between the two each of you have - I'm not sure which would fit best on my lap so I just keep looking at their website. Well I laced while you guys stitched. I was laughing at the chicken pox stories. I got mine the hottest summer in Belgium way back gee wellI was 7 or 8 and I will. Be 64 new yrs eve lol then my kids got them. My son then 2 wks later my daughter... h what a time as my husband a sibling of 7 never got them so he was so afraid to be near the kids... so I was so tired by that months end! Love your stitch along. As far as shipping issues, it took over a month, from 123 Stitch , ordered before the Christmas rush. And its been 2 1/2 weeks since I ordered from Etsy & 123 for more supplies. I think the problem started before Christmas and just increased. But packages shipped with Fedx & Ups are getting here within 1-3 days. Hope you ladies have a BLESSED Christmas & Happy New Year.

Oh, I have to comment about the "dip & clip" at the Vet's office and "did you give them a treat when they left". When my husband was stationed at Fort Leavenworth at CGSC, I worked in Kansas City on the Plaza. There was a FABULOUS doggie biscuit bakery called KC K9 and the biscuits looked just like what humans would eat except they were cut out like a "dog bone". I put some of the dog biscuits in the jar by the managers office, and several employees ate them and said "these are not as good as usual". Just had to share. LOL

We grew up with Sees Candies and Bordeaux was always a favorite. They started in Los Angeles. Really missed them when we moved from So. Calif to Colorado. They only had temporary shops in CO Springs during the holidays. Now they have a permanent shop there and now I have moved to Florida and miss them all over again.

I am enjoying this stitch along so much! Yes, the Christmas trees have all sold out early. Ever since we moved to PA we get our tree at Bustard’s Tree farm. They sold out their entire farm by the second week in December. I’m so glad we went early. They explained if they continued to cut trees it would mean they wouldn’t have enough trees for coming seasons.

I had the chicken pox as a Senior in H.S.! My mom thought that I had had them as a child. I was a Special Ed Aide and of course all of the children were getting them. Having them at an older age was much worse.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. See's has a manufacturing plant in Los Angeles and Corporate headquarters in South San Francisco. See's is a staple during the holiday season, from Thanksgiving thru Christmas, and almost every home had a box somewhere. Mom always made sure we had a 2 lb box in our house during that time.
