That wasn’t an intentional knee. Lee reaching for the puck, after he extended and try to return back, he had no where to go and lost balance. Lee is not that good of a player anymore so he couldn’t keep his body correctly positioned after reaching for the puck

Lee not being as good as he once was doesn't take away from the fact that he intentionally extended his knee to take Hischer out. I mean people act like there should be no emotion in the fights. That's not how it works. Now two guys have a long battle of fisticuffs and get it all out on their skates, I'd rather not see any extra shots. But getting in some extra nuggies on the ice is something that's always been there.

That's one instance where just dropping the gloves is warranted. .blatant knee by Lee..I don't like the instigator and I definitely don't agree with the misconduct either timo did exactly what he was supposed to do..I get the league wants a fast paced ,more safe game but its really getting soft for a full contact,fast as shit, fighting allowed sport..I don't like fighting with shields on nor fighting with helmets on great way to destroy your hands,break knuckles and ffingers.I like the old rules where if you had a shield and fought you got a minor penalty and before throwing hands both combatants took their helmets off out of respect for the other not destroying their hands as aforementioned. I also get the league prioritizing safety and worrying about concussions but its literally fist fighting if they want to take their helmets off or they just pop off then so be it. Its extremely rare that an injury occurs that way and I'm sure the players wouldn't mind it either part of job description..
