Sayce's solo on his cover of the song "Better Days" is just incredible...Definitely check that one out!
@AA19697 жыл бұрын
One important think you overlook IMHO is how much of his sound is due to a cranked fender amp playing into NON DISTORTING speakers.. Throw in a Delta Pro 12A or WGS 12L (all EVM 12L clones, a JBL clone would be awesome but there arent any good clones and the original ones are expensive) and that Hot Rod amp will sound sooo much closer to his sound. Then you'l get that 3D broken up yet clean tone that is nonpresent in your video. Cheers.
@AA19697 жыл бұрын
I'd say: A Fender strat, a fender tube amp with reverb (Hot Rod is ok), an EV 12L clone and a tube screamer ... the rest is icing on the cake.

those pedals take a lot of tinkering to get the sweet spots, its not the pedals its more the user, you have to eally dial in your basic clean sound first and then layer over top what you need subtley, also if you dont have a buffer those effects will sound tiny and over compressed, YOU NEED A BUFFER to reintorduce your guitars original tone and that rig will become insanely good. not trying to say you cant do it other ways this is just stuff ive learned using these exact types of effects and running into these issues on my own. Every boss pedal as far as i know has a buffer so ifyou have one or two of those in your chain at the right spots you could have that buffer effect a bit easier, JHS pedals does a great video on this on here.
@soulassasin108 жыл бұрын
Please do sound like Gary Moore (Parisiene Walkways, Still got the blues etc sound) Cheers :)

I guess it'll be harder than you think, exactly because of the guitars. He uses mostly some dodgy old guitar and turns up his amp into explosion. He is one of the loudest guitar players I know. Also his tone has changed quite a bit from the early white stripes into his last solo album.
@TG-kc9ue8 жыл бұрын
+Random Model Making Channel They won't do Matt Bellamy but: P90s>Zvex Fuzz Factory>Vox AC30

Zach Martin Why wouldn't they do Matt Bellamy? You forgot the million billion Dollar Midi rig btw...:) I think that's very interesting about Matt, that he uses all those effects. I would maybe suggest an RG Kaoss like thing
@TG-kc9ue8 жыл бұрын
+Random Model Making Channel He uses different things on different albums, so for instance Drones uses the Digitech Whammy A LOT, but the first couple of albums didn't really use the Kaoss pad very much, that's more BHaR onwards. I would add a Phase 90 to my list though, he's used that a hell of a lot since OOS
