What a treat! This is when Andertons is best, telling these great stories of the instrument makers we all adore! Thank you Mr.Lee!

So cool to hear 2 guys talking about carrying on generational businesses. I dated someone with a very successful family business (highlights magazine for children) and so much of the dynamics you two are talking about were things my ex partner went through with his family.

A fascinating interview. I like your interview technique where you pick up on what the interviewee is taking about and ask follow-up questions (rather than just going through a list of pre-prepared questions, which is what you tend to get on TV nowadays).

I have purchased many Martin Guitars since 1979. A great American company, guitar builder but most important Chris Martin a nice gentleman. I've had the fortune to meet him at NAMM in Anaheim and talk to him. A living American legend for the whole world.

Huh. This was actually more interesting than I thought it would be -- as conservative acoustic guitars really isn't my thing -- but I've seen pretty much every video Andertons has posted for the last three years or so, including the last round of US factory tours (obviously including Martin)... This was really quite nice. Good job, interesting conversation.

Wow I was sceptical in the first minutes viewing of this video but finally I was so impressed by Christian Martin’s openness and depth of insight to his journey to lead his family’s business. In the meantime they have continued to make great guitars, he helped them survive.

Interesting that Chris pushed Outward Bound. I was sent as a 16 y/o (for likely obvious reasons)… it’s life changing indeed; a lot more so than ‘let’s know each other outside of work’. Everyone should do it.

Great, great interview. I need to go to Martin guitars and do the tour again. I haven't been there in a while since I live not to far from there. Also, it was great to hear Craig Thatcher play. I've seen Craig play live a lot over the years, and have gotten to know him as well since he goes to the same church as I do. I enjoy all the videos you post. Jerry Elder
