Glad to hear Chappers said the Jackson was the best one, It's my third and only working guitar. I'm around 5 years of playing and I thought it's one the best guitars I've ever played. Just bought one last Xmas and from that point to now, the guitar helped me a lot of things specially playing Jazz Fusion.

Man, I so miss these Captain and Chappers videos. Next time you blindfold Rob, and ask him to guess the guitars, keep in mind, he spends a lot of time in a music store on Malta. Most of the guitars you handed him are the same brands and models he plays with on Malta. When I started playing back in 1981, there were no good cheap guitars. We had Hondo, and that was basically it. Eventually Squier started in around 83 and they were from Japan and still about $400-$500 bucks. Now you can get great stuff for around $200. It's insane. BTW. It doesn't surprise me Rob liked the Jackson best. I have 2 Dinky guitars that are about $400 and they are amazing for the $$$.

I play a JS22 which is one step up from the Jackson and highly recommend them as a starter guitar. action is really good for the price, pots are smooth and the sound is great for the price.
